On behalf of the teachers and staff at Nathalia Primary School I’d like to
thank all of the parents and families that have helped out this year with
so many of these activities. We have fantastic children at this school and
the staff are committed to seeing the school going from strength to
strength. At this stage we have 12 new preps and at least 5 new children
going into other grades across the school in 2016.
I’d like to wish everyone who is involved with Nathalia Primary School a
safe and happy Christmas that is enjoyed with family and friends. I’m
looking forward to the forthcoming holiday and excited about what lies
ahead in 2016 for Nathalia Primary School.
Thanks, Chris McCallum- Principal

Departing Staff
Miss White is leaving Nathalia Primary School
at the end of the year and will be working at a
school in Melbourne in 2016. Miss White is a
gifted teacher who has made a wonderful
contribution to our school. I’m sure the entire
school community would like to thank Rachael
for the work she has done and the care she
has shown to the children.
Mrs Hill has been a teacher at Nathalia
Primary School for over 30 years and has
taught many of the children in the
community. Mrs Hill has been on leave in
2015 and is resigning from the school at the
end of the year. Even though she was on
leave this year, Jeanette still found the time to
come in and work with the children on the
RACV Challenge. This is an indication of the dedication and
professionalism of Jeanette Hill that she has displayed for her
entire teaching career. We wish Jeanette all the best in her
retirement and thank her for her outstanding service to the
Nathalia Primary School community.
New Staff in 2016 I’m pleased to welcome Courtney Brown to the teaching staff at
Nathalia Primary School. Courtney is no stranger to the school as
she has worked here as a teacher in the past. Courtney will be
teaching the children in Grade Prep—1.
