dailyat the gate of the temple, which is

Acts 3:1-9
Acts 3:1-9- is the Launching Pad of
the message.Where we draw a PRINCIPLEPrinciple is: “The Work of the
Lordtakes place”:1. When Divine Resources,2. Meet human needs,3. Through loving channels4. To the Glory of God
(human bankruptcy)v-6-“.. In the Name of Jesus…”
I. REMEMBERING THEDIVINE RESOURCES
1. The mindset of many believers-
“Manufacturers”God- wants us to be“Distributors”
I. REMEMBERING THEDIVINE RESOURCES
2. Miracle of Christ’s Feeding ( Matt. 14:15-21)
- disciples advised Jesus to avoid the problem
- Philip admitted they don’t have enough budget
I. REMEMBERING THEDIVINE RESOURCES
Analysis:1. Multiplication- took place in
Jesus’ Hands2. Distribution- was the work of
the disciples’ hand.
I. REMEMBERING THEDIVINE RESOURCES
LESSONS:1. We must accept that we are
distributors in the work of the Lord.
2. We should not be afraid of new challenges in the work of the Lord
3. We will experience financial freedom
I. REMEMBERING THEDIVINE RESOURCES
(Human Callousness)Compassion to others. Altruistic not Narcissistic
v-2: “ was carried daily to the temple..”
II. REMEMBERING THE HUMAN NEEDS
Principle: Ministry takes place, when DivineResources meet HUMAN NEEDS
II. REMEMBERING THE HUMAN NEEDS
HOW TO RELATE TO THE NEEDS?
(In one way or the other)1. We can be BLIND to them, and
live our own lives2. We can take ADVANTAGE of
those needs to benefit ourselves.3. We can KNOW the needs of
others, BUT DO NOTHING.
II. REMEMBERING THE HUMAN NEEDS
(NOT CISTERNS)PRINCIPLE:Ministry takes place, when DivineResources meet human, throughLOVING CHANNELS…”
V-6 “ Silver and gold I don’t have, but what I have I give it to you..”
III. REMEMBERING THAT WEARE TO BE LOVING CHANNELS
“ ERINACEUS”- Zoological term.- It describes a hedgehog
person
III. REMEMBERING THAT WEARE TO BE LOVING CHANNELS
-These are the people, that you getclose to them, the more they stickto you with their protective skills.
-If the motivation for our service is anything less than our lovefor Christ, then our ministry will
notmeet Human needs.
III. REMEMBERING THAT WEARE TO BE LOVING CHANNELS
II Cor. 5:14:“The Love of Christ COMPELS
us”
III. REMEMBERING THAT WEARE TO BE LOVING CHANNELS
PRINCIPLE: Ministry takes place:1. When the Divine Resources (v-
6)2. Meet Human Needs (v-2)3. Through Loving Channels (v-6)4. FOR THE GLORY OF GOD(vv:8-
9)
IV. REMEMBER TO GIVEGLORY TO THE LORD (V.8-9)
HOW DOES GOD GET THE GLORY?
1. When people see the Lord and not the servant
2. When people see the Master, not the Minister
3. When our service produces FRUIT, not RESULTS.
IV. REMEMBER TO GIVEGLORY TO THE LORD (V.8-9)
2 OPPORTUNITIES IN THE WORK OF
THE LORD:1. Opportunity to Glorify God,2. Opportunity to Glorify Self
IV. REMEMBER TO GIVEGLORY TO THE LORD (V.8-9)
The ministry takes place (Work of
the Lord) when:1. Divine Resources,2. Meet Human Needs,3. Through the Loving Channels,4. For the Glory of God.
