INTRODUCTION AND HIGHLIGHTS
To Our Valued Customers:
CitiDirect BESM
and CitiConnect® represent the next generation of Citi’s access channels for online banking and host-to-host connectivity. Our platforms provide a single point of entry into a complete suite of corporate banking and cash management services. Our new CitiDirect BE platform offers improved navigation, quick search capabilities, and a single-entry portal. With CitiDirect BE, customers will have access to a wide variety of value-added services including Payment Analytics, ReceivablesVision, and Electronic Bank Account Management (eBAM). Also, Citi’s premier host-to-host connectivity solution, CitiConnect, offers a multitude of connectivity options along with the flexibility to integrate with ERP, treasury workstations and other accounting systems. CitiConnect aims to solve client’s connectivity challenges and to achieve straight-through-processing to increase efficiency and limit manual intervention. On October 5th new CitiDirect BE features were deployed including new functionality for Quick Tasks and Client Administrative Services. Users can now initiate payments from preformats, perform file authorizations and view intraday cash positions via Quick Tasks. In addition, authorizing Security Managers can view changes for all modified data points prior to authorizing the changes. Please read the CitiDirect BE October 5th Release News for full details regarding all of the enhancements. Additionally, we will continue with our efforts to deliver a superior client experience for CitiDirect BE and CitiConnect with the November 2013 Release. The release also includes Legal and Regulatory enhancements for countries worldwide including Hungary, Taiwan and Brazil. We have provided details of these enhancements in the following document. Highlights for some of these enhancements include: CitiDirect BE Session Timeout behavior enhancement – Once the CitiDirect BE session times out, users will no longer be required to close the CitiDirect Services window. After re-logging into the CitiDirect BE Portal, the CitiDirect Services session will automatically be re-activated such that users will be able to resume work from the last point of action. WorldLink® Payment Services Amendments – Customers who do not have a Citi debit account or didn’t use a Citi account to fund the payment will be able to initiate a request to amend a WorldLink Cross Border Funds Transfer. The amendment case will be created against a requestor’s WorldLink ID instead of a debit account number CitiDirect BE

New Look and Feel – CitiDirect BE Mobile has refreshed its look and feel. We encourage all of our clients to login to check out this improved design. Trade Authorization – The trade authorization mobile functionality has been expanded to include additional trade product including Response to Bill Discrepancy, Direct Collections, Export Documentary Collections and Response to Import Collection Notification CitiDirect BE
SM Tablet
CitiDirect BESM Tablet is now available and offers access to the CitiDirect BE platform via an iPad device. CitiDirect BE Tablet is a tablet-specific application that provides visibility into important transactional information supporting decision-making and business management for senior treasury executives. Global Updates
The following updates will be available to all Treasury and Trade Solutions clients who have entitlements to the services listed below.
CitiDirect BE Session Timeout – Once your CitiDirect BE session times out, you will no longer be required to close your CitiDirect Services window anymore. After re-logging into the CitiDirect BE Portal, your CitiDirect Services session will automatically be re-activated such that you will be able to resume your work from where you left off. Menu Changes - Under My Transactions and Services in CitiDirect BE, Citi File Exchange has been renamed to CitiConnect and USD Clearing Payment Flow Manager is renamed to Payment Flow Manager - Global Clearing.
CitiDirect BESM Mobile New Look and Feel – We are excited to inform that CitiDirect BE Mobile has refreshed its look and feel. Please login to check out
this improved design.

CitiDirect BESM Tablet
You can now also login to the CitiDirect BESM
platform using your iPad device. CitiDirect BE Tablet, a tablet-specific application
provides visibility into important transactional information supporting decision-making and business management for senior
treasury executives. CitiDirect BE Tablet provides flexibility and control to access critical information in just a few taps. CitiDirect BE
Tablet is currently available for iPad devices and can be downloaded from the App Store.
Many senior treasury executives require staff to collect data manually, and report back, a cumbersome and time-intensive exercise.
However, using CitiDirect BE Tablet, clients have finger-tip access to mission-critical financial information allowing them to easily
monitor and stay abreast of business developments while eliminating the time and manpower traditionally required for these tasks.
CFOs preparing for management meetings can use CitiDirect BE Tablet right from the boardroom to quickly check their company’s
global cash position and see that a series of payments have just been made worldwide. With a few taps, they can drill down on to a
map or a graph to see the resulting balances and then subsequently confirm the execution of the company’s strategy
simultaneously.
This new service brings core functionality available on CitiDirect BE directly to clients’ tablet devices. It provides a compelling user
experience with visibility into information needed to make important decisions globally. With CitiDirect BE Tablet, clients can:
Use features and discovery tools to customize data views to support strategic decision-making
Translate data into global business intelligence with just a few taps. View data globally, by region or country; and filter by
currency, amount and country in chart or map views.
Authorize, release and repair single and batch payments anytime and everywhere

WorldLink® Payment Services Amendments – Customers who do not have a Citi debit account or didn’t use a Citi account to fund the payment will be able to
initiate a request to amend a WorldLink cross border funds transfer. The amendment case will be created against requestor’s
WorldLink ID instead of a debit account number.

Local Language – For China, Taiwan and Thailand we will support local language characters for the Invoicer and Invoicee (Name,
Country Code, and Address Lines 1 to 3), and Unstructured Addenda Information fields. These fields are available for Straight
Through Reconciliation.

Philippines – The Philippines WHT sub form for RCH payments is now supported by the IDOC, Paymul GEN and CP2E formats.

SEPA Direct Debits COR1 – With a number of existing local direct debit schemes having shorter cycle times than that of the standard
Core SDD scheme, the industry has introduced an Additional Optional Service for SDD processing with a D-1 cycle time. As of
November 25, 2013, Citi will become a registered participant in the COR1 scheme capable of supporting COR1 processing as
creditor and debtor bank in the following markets:

Russia – The Payment Order Date will be in the Related Dates tags for the following Export formats: ISO XML camt.052.001.02 and
camt.053.001.02.
Payments
Sweden – Bank branch codes have been added for payments made in Sweden. With the addition of these codes, clients will be able
to send the payments to new Clearing participants. The Bank Codes added are:
Account number type 1

LATIS – The LATIS application can now send payment instrument to CitiDirect BE and CitiDirect BE will process the payments as
business as usual. LATIS application will use existing File maps.
Prepaid Card – A new sub form, Prepaid Card Beneficiary Name Details, has been added to avoid errors while creating Prepaid
Cards. Also, the Prepaid Card Configuration Details sub form has been added to capture more details about the Prepaid Card
beneficiary. A New field, Promo ID, was added so that the customer can now recharge an existing prepaid card.

Legal and Regulatory Updates
CitiDirect BE remains current with the latest Legal and Regulatory requirements worldwide.
The changes listed below are to be implemented in response to new regulations.
Asia – By Country Bangladesh - A new payment method 'TAX Payment' has been introduced which supports the following Payment Types:
Day 0 E-TAX
Day 1 E-TAX
A new system configuration has been introduced to manage the beneficiary details and a new library has been introduced to
manage the Tax Payments Identification details.
Existing Cash Transaction Initiation (TI) reports have been enhanced to support this new payment method
File imports has been enhanced to support the new payment instrument E-Tax' with payment types such as ‘Day 0 E-Tax' and 'Day 1
E-Tax‘. Import format(s) supported is as below.

India - A new amount field 'Fee for section 234E' has been made available for Direct Tax payment method. This field will be visible
only when the Challan number field value is 281.

Europe, Middle East and Africa – By Country Bulgaria – For Bulgarian payments the following changes have been made:
The Salary Payment field has been removed from the domestic funds transfer, cross border funds transfer and SEPA
payment methods. It has also been removed from these reports:
o Transaction Initiation Payment Details Report
o Payment Audit Report
o Preformat Detail Report
The Payment Details field is now mandatory for cross border funds transfer and SEPA payments

Hungary - As per National Bank of Hungary and GIRO regulation, for Group Collection Payments, the maximum date difference
between the Settlement date and Due Date is changed from 10 calendar days to 8 business days. The Due Date validation will be
applied to whether the date is less than or equal to 9 business days (GIRO validation works with settlement day + 8 business days).
This change will affect transactions made via ’Manual input’, ’From Preformat’ and for ’File import’

Kazakhstan - For Cross Border Funds Transfer and CPI transactions, the application will now show the reject status messages. Along
with these rejection statuses, the reason for rejection will be available under Other Options - View Error Message in both Summary
and Details Screen. There will be 2 types of error messages: Predefined Error Message & Custom Error Message
