Galatians 1: 1-101 Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but

through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him

from the dead), 2 and all the brethren who are with me,To the churches of Galatia: 3 Grace to you and peace

from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this

present evil age,

according to the will of our God and Father, 5 to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the

grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not

another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than

what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. 10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I

would not be a bondservant of Christ. NKJV

Galatians 1: 1-21 Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but

through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him

from the dead), 2 and all the brethren who are with me,To the churches of Galatia:

• Our purpose and achievements are totally dependent on JESUS and

God the father• There is nothing for us to

boast about.

Galatians 1: 3-53 Grace to you and peace

from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, 4 who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this

Romans 5:1,2Therefore, having been

justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through

whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the

hope of the glory of God

WE RECEIVE BOTH GRACE AND PEACE, SIMPLY

THROUGH FAITH

JESUS – GOD’S SOLUTION BY GRACE

1.Through the obedience of Jesus, God has once and for

all dealt with sin and delivered us from this

present evil age2.We are delivered from this

evil world into grace and peace

3.For any problem that we face, (sin, lack, etc) the

solution is Christ. All else ignores God’s provision for

salvation4.This was God’s idea, all man can do is receive it

humbly by faith

Galatians 1:6-76 I marvel that you are

turning away so soon from Him who called you in the

grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not

another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.

1. REJECTING GRACE IS TURNING AWAY FROM GOD

THE FATHER 2. What is not Grace is NO

Gospel at all3. ADDING THE LAW

PERVERTS GRACE

Acts 15: 1-2And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, "Unless you are

circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved." 2 Therefore, when

Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and

certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about

this question.

Page 11: Relating with GOD beyond the Rules

Acts 15: 55 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to

circumcise them, and to command them to keep the

law of Moses." Acts 15:10-11

10 Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on

the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor

we were able to bear?

Page 12: Relating with GOD beyond the Rules

11 But we believe that through the grace of the Lord

Jesus Christ* we shall be saved in the same manner as

they." NKJV 2 Corth 3:6

6 who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new

covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit;* for the letter

kills, but the Spirit gives life.THE LAW IS NO GOSPEL AT ALL, IT KILLS. NO ONE CAN

FULFILL IT!!!

Galatians 1:8-98 But even if we, or an angel

from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we

have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say

again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be

accursed. NKJVRULES & LEGALISM LEADS TO DOOM FOR NONE CAN FULFILL

THE LAW

Gal 3:10-1210 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,

"Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things

which are written in the book of the law, to do them."* 11 But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is

evident, for "the just shall live by faith."* NKJV

Galatians 1:1010 For do I now persuade

men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still

pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. NKJV

1 Thessalonians 2:44 But as we have been approved by God to be

entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as

pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. NKJV
