Registration for 2014 Health Checkup All students are required to have an on-campus health checkup at the Safety and Health Organization building (next to the Center for International Research and Education). Starting this year, pre-registration is required when you take an on-campus health checkup. In order to log-in to the health checkup system by Safety and Health Organization (SHO) at Chiba University, all students need to have a Chiba University e-mail address. Registration is available only from a PC connected to LAN terminal on campus.

To access the health check-up system, students need;

second examination. -Health checkup certificate will be available in one or two weeks for students in

Nishi- Chiba campus, four weeks for Inohana and Matsudo campus. -SHO will e-mail you in four weeks and you can check the checkup results on the website. - We recommend students who may need a certificate for job-seeking, to have a

health checkup at their earliest convenience and to obtain the certificate from the previous year just in case by mid-March.

Notes for Special health checkup : Students using radiation or radio isotope, doing experiment in transgenics, treating pathogenic organs or specific chemical materials are required to have the special health checkup in addition to the general health checkup. Please ask professors or faculty staff whether you should have special health checkup or not. Be sure to choose the proper date according to the type of health examination(s) you will have, because the health checkup schedule differs depending on the health examination course.
