Registering for MasteringAstronomy TM Slide 2 Go to Click New Students Slide 3 Answer the question: Do you have an access code? Select: Yes, I have an access code if you purchased a text with a code. No, I need to purchase access online now if you do not have a code. Click Continue Slide 4 If you selected No, I need to purchase access online now, select Outside U.S. & Canada to see available books, then mouse over the book titles and click on your text. Slide 5 Optional: Select either Yes or No if you wish to purchase access to an eBook at this time. Or you can upgrade to an eBook later. Click Continue Price will be shown before purchase Slide 6 Read the License Agreement and Privacy Policy Click I Accept Slide 7 Select: No if this is your first Pearson product. Yes if you already have another Pearson account. Or Not sure. Enter your unique Access Code. Click Next Slide 8 Enter First Name, Last Name, and E-mail Address Enter School Country, Zip Code, School Name Scroll down Slide 9 Click Next Select a Security Question and answer it Slide 10 Congratulations! You have successfully created a Login and Password. Click Log In Now Slide 11 All astronomy books contain a Study Area. If you dont have a Course ID, select a book and click Go to Study Area. Slide 12 Study Area Only: If you dont have a Course ID, you can use the Study Area activities. You can Join a Course later if your instructor gives you a Course ID. Slide 13 Click Save and OK If your instructor has given you a Course ID and instructions for entering a Student ID, then enter the Student ID and Course ID information. Slide 14 MasteringAstronomy Home Page Your instructors welcome message appears here. Review Tips Slide 15 See Constants, Periodic Table, and Help Slide 16 Click Assignments to view instructor assignments. (Applies if you received a Course ID). Slide 17 Click Introduction to MasteringAstronomy to learn how to use the program. Slide 18 These items will explain how to navigate in the program, how to input answer types, and how you can expect to be graded. Click Welcome!
