CPR Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider

American Heart Association $65.00

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers covers core material such as adult and pediatric one and

two-rescuer CPR, use of a face shield and a bag mask to deliver ventilation support to patients, foreign-

body airway management, and using an automated external defibrillator. The target audience for this

program is the healthcare provider, or student entering the healthcare field, also EMS personnel, physi-

cian assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists. A written exam and a skills test are

required for successful course completion.

Tuition includes an AHA CPR BLS textbook.

Prerequisite: Students must possess and bring their valid (within 6 months of expiration) Healthcare Provider card to class for admission. A

written exam and skills testing is required for successful course completion. Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provid-

CPR Basic Life Support for the Healthcare

Provider Renewal Online $50.00

American Heart Association

This course is an option for healthcare providers seeking

an alternative to classroom based training for recertifica-

tion. The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

Online Course offers a flexible training option

for busy healthcare professionals. This course delivers

the cognitive learning through Web-based, self-paced

modules. The students are then required to meet with an

American Heart Association Instructor to complete a

hands-on skills practice session and a skills test.

Upon successful completion of all parts, students re-

ceive their BLS for Healthcare Provider Course Com-

pletion Card. The online portion must be completed prior to

scheduling your practical skills test by visiting www.onlineaha.org.
