Map your data Review what data you hold, in which format, for what purpose, and the processes in place for treating them. Who has access to them, including external contractors? Prioritise action What changes do you need to implement to respect the new rules? Risk management Carry out a Privacy Impact Assessment: is any of the data sensitive? Is it secured? Review procedures Raise awareness throughout your organisation. How are data protection queries treated, and by whom? Get your papers in order Proof of consent, contracts, privacy notices, written internal procedures…
