• As per para 4 of Ministry of Power letter nO.3m2016-0M dated 01 .03 .2016 (Copy endosed) "the Unallocated power on dedaration of commercial operation of any unit/station will be added in the existing regional power pool and allocated to the StatesiUTs as per existing proportion of allocation of unallocated power as approved by the Ministry of Power from time to time ~

2. Details of revised allocation of power from Central Generating Stations in Northern Region are available on NRPC website (nrpc.gov.in). 3. The above anocation wlll be implemented after Declaration of Commercial Operation (CoD) .

Subject: Re-allocation of firm-share surrendered by Delhi and Haryana in Meja Thermal Power Station Stage-I (2x660) to Uttar Pradesh.

Sir,

Keeping in view of the surrendered share of Delhi (76 MW) and Haryana (ll. MW) from Meja Thermal Power Station Stage-I (2x660) and the wi llingness of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL) to avail the surrendered power and concurrence of Meja Ulja N igam Private Ltd (MUNPL) for re-allocation, it has been decided to re-allocate surrendered share of total 108 MW from Meja Thermal Power Station Stage-I (2x660) to Uttar Pradesh.

2. The beneficiary is required to sign I extend PP A and enter into commercial arrangements I maintain LC with the allocated power.

3. CEA is requested to get the order implemented expeditiously under intimation to all concerned.

The above allocation will further be subject to the Power Purchase Agreements (l'PAs) entered into by NTPC Limited with State Power Utili[ies'! lJn ion Territory and will funher be subject to the beneficia ries ensu ring cOlllpl iance with the financial and commercial terms (inc luding coverage lor Lettcr or Credi t) of the PPA signed wi th NTPC Ltd., the tarifT notification and any other directives/ guidelines issued by the Government or India iCentral E[ectricity Regu[atory Comm ission fro m time to time.

Mini stry of Power (MoP) issues orders fOl' allocation of power from the Central Generating Sialions (CGSs) to the beneticiary Stalcs/UTs, The allocation consists of firm power generally alllolinting to 85% of the insta ll ed "apacity of the CGSc and 15% as unallocaled power, Unallocated I)owcr of various CGSs in a region is gellerally pooled 10 form a regiollal unal localed power pool.
