Greetings Tifosi!

We have many wonderful events planned for the next several months. Make sure you check the schedule on page two of this newsletter. Our Board continues to work out details for these exciting venues.

For those members not driving on the FFFT 2014, there is the new Ferrari Club brunch at Gaetano's Italian Restaurant on September 28, 2014 from 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. We will be sending out more details later. Watch your email.

Thanks to all who attended the Classic Restoration Tour in Denver with Jack Farland (photos on the left) and the recent Scuderia Rampante Tech session with Dave Helms.

Don’t forget the August 17, 24th Annual Automezzi Italian Car / Scooter Show and the Morgan Adams Concours on August 23rd. Let’s get our Prancing Horses out for these events! Registration directions are on page 4 and 17.

Every 3rd Sunday of the month...Meet the other members...Bring your Ferrari out...Other cars are okay too...

Join us! Come out and have some fun meeting other members of the club. Enjoy a spring and summer Colorado Sunday morning, see each other’s cars, and hang out for 2 hours in a huge parking lot, have some coffee and a bagel at the Whole Foods Market and be able to see your car from the patio. Casual event and soft shoes, bring your kids, weather is usually good in the mornings, and you’ll be home at noon!

Many of you have enjoyed participating in some (or many) of the thirty-three years of open track events sponsored by the Colorado Exotic Car Association (CECA) on most of Colorado’s race tracks. For various organizational reasons, the Shelby American Automobile Club, Colorado Region (SAAC/COLO), as the Executive Associate of CECA, has accepted an appointment to assume sponsorship of the traditional slate of CECA track events for all future events.

The customary format and program for these events will not change. As a founding member of CECA, SAAC/COLO has been significantly involved in organizing and staging all of CECA’s past events. As your new sponsor, SAAC/COLO welcomes you to our 34th season. We will send more info out soon!

Ferrari reported a net profit of 246 million euros, or $342 million, for 2013, an increase of 5.4 percent. That sum

amounted to 27 percent of the profit of its parent company, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, even though the

number of Ferraris was a tiny percentage of the 4.4 million vehicles sold by the group.

The Outlets at Castle Rock along with the Rocky Mountain Car Club present the biggest car show

series in Colorado this summer. Over 10,000 spectators each month with 200 incredible show cars,

trucks, and motorcycles on display. Located conveniently between Denver and Colorado Springs, the

Outlets at Castle Rock is a prime location for a car show. Bring the family! Plenty of shopping and

food available at the mall!

-FREE pancake breakfast from Chris Cakes of Colorado for all show registrants

We will have a wide range of automotive-related vendors onsite. We will be GIVING AWAY $100s in

door prizes every hour to spectators and our registered car owners. A portion of event proceeds will go

to our official charity - the Morgan Adams Foundation for childhood cancer research.

Each monthly show is open to ALL MAKES AND MODELS of cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The July

show is a NIGHT SHOW and CONCERT!

Turquoise Trail Drive

New Mexico Chapter members met for a spirited Sunday morning drive along the scenic Turquoise Trail (NM14) east of the Sandia Mountains winding from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. Our Ferraris shared the road with summer tourists on bicycles and motorcycles enjoying the high desert scenery of northern New Mexico and the restaurants & artisan’s shops in the former mining community of Madrid. The group met up with other members at the Bishop’s Lodge in Santa Fe for a sumptuous champagne brunch and the chance to catch up on the activities of old friends. Thanks to all who participated for a very enjoyable Sunday morning; Forza Ferrari !!!
