And whereas the Custodian of Evacuee Property, Panaji intends to declare the said properties of Southern half of Mayem as non-evacuee properties and to release the same in favour of Smt. Ricardina Da Silva de Noronha.

Now therefore, it is notified for the information of the pubric and interested parties in particular that objections in writing if any, on the proposal to declare the said properties as non-evacuee and subsequent release in favour of Smt. Ricardina Da Silva De Noronha, may be filed before the Custodian of Evacuee Property on 3-1-1996 at 10.45 a. m. alongwith the reasons therefor. O. 595(E) dated 18-8-1994 issued under the Environment (Protr~~tion) Act, 1986 (Central Act 29 of 1986) (hereinafter called the said ;Notlflcll\!OnS·') ,i1( t)pes of constructions wlului200 Dleti:esfi"om the High Tide Line have been prohibited;

And whereas in terms of said Notifications, any development including renovation/repairs of houses, etc, within 50Q mrs. fTom the High Tide Line wouJd'require prior permission from the Government of Goa through the Goa State ;Committee' for Coastal Environment, c/o Town arid CountTY Pl~ning Department, Old Medical College Complex, Panaji; }

And whereas the Government of Goa is c~nunitted to meticulously follow the provisions of said Notifications.

Now therefore, the members of the p!,!blic are hereby requested not to

undertake any construction including renovation/repairs within 500 mts.

from the High Tide Line without obtaining prior pennission fro}ll the

Government ·of. Goa through the Goa State Committee on Coastal

Environment. It may further be noted that any licence issued by the

Panchayats for repairs/renovations within 500 mts. zone without prior

approval of Goa State Committee for Coastal Enviornment would be
