The Research department of reliable care solutions conducts research in healthcare. We develop innovation in Healthcare topics related both to global medical needs as well as solutions to India specific healthcare problems. Our approach is from a software system point of view as well as point of care devices that addresses the needs of patients and healthcare workers in the emerging markets for purposes that include screening, diagnosis and disease management. We accomplish this by clinical and theoretical investigations, computational system evaluation, simulations and measurement on input data and realized models in an open innovation environment with research and clinical partners in India as well as China, Europe and USA.

This position is for placement at Bangalore, India

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ph.D/Masters in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and communication engineering/Computer science with specialization in signal processing, pattern recognition. Knowledge of biomedical engineering and instrumentation, biomedical data analysis is a desirable.

· Minimum of 5 years of research experience in the relevant area excluding the PhD research experience

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Propose novel methods for signal analysis especially biomedical signals, requiring an in-depth knowledge of signal processing and pattern recognition techniques

· Implementation of proposed methods to demonstrate proof of concept

REQUIREMENTS:

We are interested in candidates with experience in signal processing, pattern recognition, data analysis based information extraction techniques. Particularly, candidates should also have experience and problem solving skills in the areas of interpretation of biomedical signals, algorithm development for pattern classification and system architecture design.

Positions are intended for outstanding candidates with proven research credentials. Candidates should have a strong desire to work in a multidisciplinary environment and should have excellent communication and collaborative skills with an ability to interact with product divisions, multinational research teams and academicians from schools of international repute.

· Strong publication record in the relevant field

· Expertise in methods and technologies for signal analysis using signal processing and pattern recognition techniques with particular focus on biomedical signals

·         Knowledge of system architecture and development
