Camera Installation Tips

• Consider the camera angle, distance and height installation

• Install REG within the specified capture zone

• Ensure the vertical angle is less than 40º

• Ensure the horizontal angle is less than 40º

DVR Settings Optimized for REG

• Records and display at least 640x240 pixels (per channel) • Adjust the compression settings so that the license plate is still readable on the recorded images. • In some cases 2CIF recording gives a better result than 4CIF recording because of interlacing artifacts on moving objects • Record at 30 fps (per channel) for best results • Use motion triggered recording to save on storage space
