Refurbishment of a Norwich Offi ce forthe Media Sector

ensure that the site continued to

provide a safe, comfortable and

compliant working environment,

with minimum disruption

to employees. Antac’s high

The Challenge

Antac was given a

tight three week schedule to

complete the works, to minimise

the disruption to our customer.

A range of refurbishment

and renovation tasks were

needed across the building.

These ranged from decorating,

carpet and vinyl fl ooring, fi t

out of kitchens, installing high

effi ciency T5 lighting, fl oor

and wall tiling in washrooms

to upgrading the building’s air

conditioning system from R22

refrigerant.

The Solution

Antac’s experience is combined

with attentive client engagement

to ensure we deliver the

highest standards of quality and

service for our customer, in-line

with our ISO 9001. All offi ce

areas were re-decorated and

carpeted throughout by Antac’s

tradesmen. Several staff kitchen

were refurbished, including

vinyl fl oors and tiling. This

provides clean, hygienic

and easy to clean kitchen

surfaces. The buildings

existing air conditioning

system utilised R22

gas which cannot even

be used, even maintain

existing systems from 2015.

Antac surveyed the system and

recommended a replacement

“Drop In” gas. New pipework

and ceiling cassettes were also

installed during the upgrade.

Internal lighting throughout

the building was replaced by

high effi ciency Indiquattro T5

fl uorescent lighting , which

deliver signifi cant savings

through reduced energy use and

lower maintenance costs due to

their long service life.
