The Music: En Aranjuez Con Tu Amour is from the 1939 Concierto de Aranjuez by Spanish composer Joaquin Rodrigo. This haunting guitar solo is played beautifully by Charo:
Aranjuez,
a place of dreams and love.
Where a rumor of crystal
fountains in the garden
seems to whisper to the roses.
The Dance: • A lyrical gypsy fusion dance using skirt, veil
and Spanish fan.
• The song is from the Charo and Guitar album.
What else you’ll learn: • Warm-up and cool down that strengthen and
stretch the back and abs, giving you better dance posture and alignment.
• Dance moves from Elena Lentini, Mariano Parra and Dalia Carella fused with Raks Sharki.
• Technique that will help you conquer difficult steps.
• Mastering diagonals and footwork..
• How to win over your audience and make them watch you.
• Tips and tricks to heighten the impact of your dance performance.

Our mission is to
enhance respect for World
Dance both in Wichita and
the greater dance community. We wish to share our
knowledge and love of world cultures, and to
present these cultures in a positive, honest light. We
experience the feelings of people from other
cultures by learning their dances. Through
movement--first by learning, then by sharing with
others in performance--we promote a greater
friendship between cultures.
