Not a ClearedJobs.Net job seeker? That’s OK too. As long as you have an active or current security clearance, create a job seeker profile, and upload your resume, you’re entered to win!

Why it’s important to log in and refresh your account

Did you know when employers search a resume database they typically only search for job seekers who have been “active” in the last 30 days?

Recruiters don’t want to wade through resumes from job seekers who are no longer in the job market. And employers assume you are no longer looking for a job if your account has not been accessed in the last 30 days.

Logging in also puts you at the top of the recruiter's search results. That's because search results are presented to recruiters chronologically. The more often you log in, the more likely you’re at the top of the pile.

Go to www.ClearedJobs.Net and enter your Member Login and Password. If you don’t remember them, contact CustomerService@ClearedJobs.Net or 703-871-0037, Option 4.

After you login you’ll see My Account Dashboard. While you’re here, review your Profile, Saved Searches, Job Agents, etc. to make sure they are up-to-date. If you need to update your resume, check out The Most Important Improvement to Your Resume.

Curious where the Last Updated information appears?

The date of your most recent login is reflected under the information for your Default Resume.

If you click on This is your Default Resume, you'll see the Last Updated date in parentheses.

We’ve got a new feature – Willing to Relocate

If you're a job seeker who is willing to relocate, make sure you check this new box on the Career Preferences page.

To get there, log in to your job seeker account. From My Account Dashboard click on View your Profile.

Select the Career Preferences tab.

You'll see the check box for Willing to Relocate at the bottom of the Career Preferences page.

Remember to log in to update your ClearedJobs.Net job seeker account at least once a month so employers know you’re still an active job seeker!
