AbstractIn this paper, a printed monopole circular antenna arrayconcept for use in the frequency 3.1 GHz - 10.6 GHz ispresented. The design uses the printed monopole discantenna in a four-element array to produce high gainand to shape the radiation pattern while maintaininggood match of the frequency range of interest. The fourprinted disc monopole antennas are fed usingbroadband T- Junction power dividers. The proposedconcept has been verified by simulations and finallyconfirmed by measurement which verifies a -10-dBmatch bandwidth extending from 3.1 GHz – 10.6 GHzand directive radiation pattern as well.
