Lesson Preparation and Planning:Phil obtained an outstanding lesson in our last Ofsted Inspection in May 2011. He is a very keen practitioner and is always reflection on how he can improve his performance and teaching.

Class control/discipline & group management skills: Phil has very good classroom control as the students respect him. He also is heavily involved with after school clubs and the students view him as a good role model.

Working with pupils of different levels of ability: Phil is able to adapt his teaching to suit the needs of all students.

Teaching ability: I have worked with Phil over the past three and a half years on improving feedback and assessment in his department and he is always willing to embrace new ideas and improve communication with both the students and their parents.
