• Reference 是指所有你參考過並在論文中引用的文獻。參考文獻雖

然僅是一些文獻之作者、標題及出版日期及出處等資訊之集合，但其所提供之資料相當重要，為後人按圖索驥的重要線索。

• 文獻之格式通常均有其慣例，雖然各種期刊所規定者可能略有出入，但差異不大。但無論來源如何，最後必須修正為一致的格式。

General style

• Author names不可省略作者姓名。假如作者超過三個人，則在第一位作者之後加上〝 ed al. 〞例如： T.G. Lewis et al.

• DatesSpell out May, June, and July; abbreviate the other months:Jan., Feb., Mar., Apr., Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov., and Dec.

• Titles需保留完整的標題，不可以增加或減少任何字元。如果是非中英文的 reference ，如果可以的話，在原本的標題之後打上英文的標題。除第一個字母與專有名詞大寫外，均以小寫為之。

Style for referenceReference 之格式我們以 IEEE 格式標準為原則。

• 以確實在本文引用者為限。

• 應考慮全文敘述之方式而排列其先後提及的順序。

• 正文中引用 reference 時，以括號註明作者姓氏及發表年份，或作者之後以括號註明年份。例： (Smith, 1985) ， Smith (1985) ， (Smith and Kline, 1968) 。作者若超過三人 (含三人 )，英 (歐 )文用 (Smith et al.,1990) ，中文用 ( 陳等人 , 1989) 。

• 期刊上之論文：可依下列次序書寫：即作者姓名、出版年、論文標題、期刊名稱、卷及期號、頁數。期刊名稱縮寫應依國際標準，卷數跟期號要使用小寫。例如：

I.E. Sutherland, R.F. Sproull, and R.A. Schumaker, Mar. 1974, "A Characterization of 10 Hidden-Surface Algorithm“ACMComputing Surveys, vol. 6, no. 1, pp. 1-55.

• 碩、博士論文：M. Nichols, The Graphical Kernel System in Prolog, master's thesis, Dept. Computer Science and Eng., Rensselaer Polytechnic Inst., 1985.

• Book ：可依下列次序書寫：作者姓名、書名、出版社、出版年、頁數。例如：

W.M. Newman and R.F. Sproull, Principles of Interactive Computer Graphics, McGraw-Hill, 1979, p. 402.

• CD-ROM ：W.M. Newman and R.F. Sproull, Principles of Interactive Computer Graphics, CD-ROM , McGraw-Hill, 1979, p. 402.

• 電子刊物：Web siteR. Bartle, "Early MUD History," Nov. 1990; www.ludd.luth.se/mud/aber/mud-history.htm
