DRAINAGE SYSTEM The pipework surveyed is a Foul drainage system, access via Inspection chamber. The pipework is circular, in Dia 150mm in diameter and is of VC pipe material. Further specific variations will be in the report content as found. 3. SHARED We have surveyed the Private drainpipes The foul drains are connected to the main sewerage system. 4. CIRCUMSTANCES Task type: General survey 5. SUMMARY The defects noted are in the attached report. 5. Observations
CCTV drainage survey carried out after unblocking FW1. The interceptor trap on FW1 is cracked and needs replacing with a straight through piece. It was noted that wet wipes and sanitary towels are being flushed down toilets (Picture in content report) Surveys abandoned Section 1 ‐ Due to roots in pipework. 6. Quotations and Specification of Repairs To attend the above site and provide skilled crew, labour, plant, and equipment to:‐ * Repair 1 Section/s 1 Excavate & remove trap 150mm and replace with straight through section (Depth 1.25) x 1 * Repair 2 Section/s 1 Descale/De‐root (inc cctv)
We will be pleased to carry out the above works for the sum of £995.00 + VAT
The pipework will be tested and using CCTV to ensure maximum efficiency has been achieved and left in
full working order and made good to BS EN 752.
All debris will be removed from site and the site will be left in a clean and clear condition
7. COST SAVING Any proposed repair methods are specially selected, as the most cost‐effective method and expedient to rectify the defects noted. 8. GUARANTEE Please note that all repair works proposed are guaranteed for up to 5 years for repairs, and our guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. Due to the nature of working underground, it is not possible to state that there will be no further damage discovered. Once the repairs commence, if this occurs, we will make all efforts to mitigate the costs and seek authority through the proper channels before carrying out additional repairs. Please ensure that appropriate access to water and electricity provided on‐site to complete the repair (the engineer will confirm these details with you).
