Hi I’m Ruth, owner of Elements Day Spa, for those of you who haven’t met me yet I am passionate about all things spa, beauty and health orientated!I grew up here in Penwortham, studied beauty therapy at Runshaw College, then became obsessed with the world of health spas whilst working at

Brooklands Health Spa formally in Garstang. Once I had learnt all I could from Brooklands I moved on to a spa situated inside a local health club, which fuelled my passion for excellent customer service and spas even furthur as I completed 5* training courses by leading product brands.

From working in these spas I have witnessed how important it is for your health to have regular visits to escape from the chaos of life and rediscover you, many studies have proven how a 1 hour treatment every 4 - 6 weeks to escape, relax and unwind drastically lowers stress levels, can boost the immune

system and improve your general wellbeing. (If you haven’t yet enjoyed the pure bliss of a spa treatment then trust me there are far worse things you could do to improve your health!)

This is why I started Elements Day Spa. To offer you a little escape right here in Preston. I believe everyone should benefit from what is known as luxury.

Spa EtiquetteThe spa is open to both men and women, and can accommodate small groups for bookings. For your enjoyment the spa is an adult

only environment (16 years and over.) Please arrive up to 30 minutes prior to your appointment time this allows time to relax and enjoy refreshments before your treatment journey begins. After any relaxation treatment with us you may also make use of our salt therapy room to finish your journey so please allow time if you wish to do so. If you are joining us for a spa package please bring flip flops or comfortable

foot wear, robes will be provided for you.

Gift Vouchers Gift vouchers are available for all of our treatments or for a value of your choice and are valid for 6 months.

Health Problems/ AllergiesFor your health and wellbeing please disclose at the time of booking if you have any medical problems, allergies, recent injury or health problems. As certain treatments may need to be adapted, or you may need to check with a medical professional that a treatment is safe for you. By disclosing this information prior to arrival we can make the necessary checks to ensure your safety during your visit, failure to

disclose the information prior to your appointment time may result in us not being able to do your treatment.

Cancellation PolicyWe require 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment, any treatment cancelled with 24 hours notice will incur a 50% charge, any treatment cancelled on the day of your appointment will incur the full charge of the booking. Late arrival may result in

your treatment being shortened accordingly.

Large BookingsFor large and group bookings we require payment in full at the time of booking and ask for 7 days notice if you need to cancel or

re-schedule. Any bookings cancelled with 72 hours notice will have 50% of the amount paid refunded, under 72 hours notice will not be refunded.
