Presbyteral Ordination
On May 16th we were very happy to celebrate the
ordination to Holy Orders of Fr. Francesco Basso (Italy). His family and some brothers of his community accompanied him.
May God bless Fr. Francesco in his
mission, as a priest for the New Evangelization!

Friends of the Seminary Dinner 2017
On June 11th, we held our annual Friends of the Semi-nary Dinner honoring Bill & Paul Newland together
with their wives and family. Our speaker was Mr. John Harvey, President of the Catholic University of America. Many of our friends and benefactors accompanied us.
Midday Prayer and Lunch with Archdiocesan Staff
In April we welcomed the staff of the archdiocesan center for a tour, prayer and lunch. We enjoyed our
time together with them, and we hope to repeat it again.

Beginning of the Year
The Seminary began this new year of formation with a retreat and a rosary
walk to St. Francis Cabrini Shrine, where we celebrated Mass asking to receive her zealous evangelizing spirit.
Summer Evangelization Mission.
In July all seminarians & formators participated in an Evangelization experience, going 2 by 2 announcing
the Gospel like Jesus sent his disciples. Archbishop Aquila received the missionaries presiding at a beautiful Eucharist.
New Seminarians
In September Archbishop Aquila, Fr. Tobías, and Fr. Giovanni attended the annual voca-
tional retreat in Porto San Giorgio, Italy. Arch-bishop Aquila welcomed three new brothers into our seminary: Antonio Pasquinucci (Italy), Daniel Ramírez (New York) and a young man from Colombia.

Testimony of Emmanuella Molla.
We had the privilege of listening to the testimony of Gianna Molla, a contemporary saint,
through her daughter Emmanuella Molla. Gianna was canonized by Pope St. John Paul II in 2014 for her heroic decision to give birth to Emmanuella at the risk of losing her life. She was able to do this out of her love for Jesus Christ and her love for life.

Procession Remembering 9/11 Victims.
Recognizing that we are now living in a time where violence and hatred seem to rule our nation, we re-
member those who suffered in the tragic terrorist attacks on 9/11. We prayed the Rosary through the streets around the seminary, praying for the souls of those who died, for the conversion of angry hearts, for reconciliation and also for us, that we may never be blinded by anger and hatred.
the best time of my life. I’ve experienced the power of the Kerygma in the lives of many brothers: the families opening to life and young people entering Christian marriages, seminaries and contemplative convents. In this time God gave me the grace to come to know Him in a very personal way through the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and spending time with Christ present in the Word of God. I’ve experienced very deep happiness and peace among many trials and sufferings. I’ve witnessed God’s mercy and faithfulness towards me and His Church in a very strong way.Among the many graces, one of the biggest was to be together on the team with a saintly Carmelite priest, Father Pius, and a Christian family, David and Maruxa with their 10 children. The witness of faith that they gave was very encouraging and I really feel edified and confirmed in my vocation. Now I resume the life of the seminary in Denver looking forward, so that God may complete the work he began in my life.
