Having interacted and worked with clients, buyers, designers and fashion houses, she brings with her extensive industry experience from the apparel manufacturing industry. Ms. Bharati Kharshikar has 23 years of experience in Dubai, United Arab of Emirates, and has worked with various companies & institutes as an Administrative Manager and Soft Skills trainer. She specializes in counseling and mentoring students. Soft skills training has become an integral part in the field of Management especially in show-biz world of which Fashion Designing is very important part. Procedure for seeking admission for Fashion Designing

Eligibility for Masters Degree Program M.Sc.FD -

Eligibility for Bachelor Degree Program B.Sc.FD:

Entrance examination for Bachelors & Masters Degree Program

Eligibility :

I) Any candidate who has successfully completed 12th level of schooling (10+2) from a statutory board, that is

HSC or equivalent from any stream of subject is eligible for admission. Those who have appeared for 12th

Examination & a waiting the result can also apply for provisional admission & admission confirmation is

subject to clearance of 12th / HSC during same academic year OR

Any candidate who is at least 18 years of age AND has successfully completed 10th level of schooling from

statutory board in any subject stream AND has successfully completed the preparatory programme for

graduation from YCMOU or equivalent, is also eligible for admission. (For preparatory programme for

graduation from YCMOU please refer website http://ycmou.digitaluniversity.ac)

I) Any candidate who has successfully completed graduation in Fashion Design from any statutory university

in India or abroad is eligible for admission to the M.Sc. (FD) directly and does not need to take the entrance

test. Those who have appeared for Bachelors Program Examination & a waiting the result of Final year can

also apply for provisional admission & admission confirmation is subject to clearance of Bachelors Program

during same academic year OR

Any candidate who has successfully completed graduation in any discipline from any statutory university in

India or abroad may take admission to the programme after successfully completing the entrance test and

interview conducted by the YCMOU for M.Sc. (FD) with at least 60% marks.

Eligibility for Certificate course in Fashion Design – Open to All.

It is essential to clear entrance test & interview for admission to B.Sc.FD & M.Sc.FD program. For subsequent

entrance test dates you may please contact us on contact numbers given below. The exam will be of 3 hrs

duration. For Bachelor Entrance test, the first paper will be of General Knowledge and English for 50 marks of

1 hour duration. Aptitude test will be of 100 marks for 2 hours duration (no interview for degree program).

For Masters Degree, entrance examination will be of creative ability test only followed by interview.

Application form for the Entrance exam is available on website www.sgisift.org. Interested students are

requested to fill up the application form online and submit OR the form may be downloaded, filled up and

Fees for the examination is Rs. 200 only and can be paid in cash on the date of examination at examination

Suryadatta organizes social events to develop the student’s sense of social responsibility in order to make them a responsible citizen. As a responsible corporate citizen and educational Institution, Suryadatta Group of Institutes does not lag behind in promoting various social awareness programs and sensitizing and educating its students to be good corporate citizens.

Suryadatta Group of Institutes' Suryadatta Institute of Fashion Technology has taken numerous such initiatives in a short span of last two years. It is the very apt step taken by the institute under the initiative of Edu-Socio Connect Such as -

Basic Beauty parlors Course : Was conducted in two batches. Total 365 women participated in the Program.Certificate was awarded to these ladies, which is useful for them for entrepreneurship activities.

Jewellery Making Course : 200 Ladies successfully completed this Program

Women's Day Celebration : An experienced faculty from Suryadatta trained the ladies in Hand Embroidery, Fashion Designing, Ladies Garments stitching and all kind of stitching for Infants to grandmothers. Through this initiative, Suraydatta extended a helping hand to 200 women from low-income groups.

Rice Plantation : On 24th July,Suryadatta Group of Institute and One Day Helping Hand NGO had organized a visit to Velhe for Rice Plantation. There were around 300 students. It was the best opportunity to visit the farms. All Students were excited to meet the farmers and do the rice plantation.

Blood Donation : 3rd October 2015, World Health Day & Blood donation Day was celebrated by Suryadatta Group of Institute’s, SIFT, SIVAS and PIAT campus of Sadashiv peth and Tilak road respectively, by organizing Blood Donation campaign in association with Poona Hospital. Indeed, this was most respectful prayer offered by the students of Suryadatta to Mahatma Gandhi: on post evening of his birth anniversary. Total no. of blood donors was 28.
