Monthly PSA From Your LTG
HELLO DIVISION 46 NORTH!
Last month has been a WONDERFUL month for us all, and I
hope this month is the same or even better! First off I'd like to
thank you all for attending Officers Training Conference! Not
one club was missing!!! Also, I'd like to thank you all for
submitting your club MRF's ON TIME. Not one club submitted
them a minute late! Submitting your MRFs on time is VERY
important. It also helps me when it comes to submitting our
Division MRF on time! Last month's was my first DMRF, and I
cannot explain how grateful I was to have all your MRFs on
time. Even though I have been serving you all for about two
months, I can already tell we're all in for an unbelievable year! I
know the school year is coming to an end, but don't forget that
Key Club is still up and running during the summer! Don't lose
your passion to serve while you're on break! I hope to see all
you baby Red Pandas at upcoming events and at DCM!
Sincerely,
Celina Chanthanouvong

On April 27th, citizens from around Modesto
gathered outside of the Gallo center to participate in
Love Modesto. Several of our members volunteered
for this event. At 8am people were preparing for the
day’s work that was ahead. At 9am all participants of
Love Modesto kicked off start of the day with a rally,
where speakers gave a few words and wished us
good luck. Our members started off by helping unload
items for a donation center. There were tables set up
and our members along with other community
volunteers helped sort out the items. As the morning
continued, our members got their food skills on and
prepared breakfast burritos to hand out to less
fortunate people around Modesto.
Our members set up a line and each person had
a job whether it was wrapping up the burritos or filling
the burritos with rice and eggs. After a few hours, our
members were able to make around 200 to 300
burritos. The breakfast were handed out to people
along with fruit and water and burritos were also sent
to other places around Modesto, such as the bus
stops, and were handed out there too. They we glad
to see the smiles from many people and even feed a
lost puppy. Our members can’t wait to sign up for Love
Modesto again

On April 27, 2013, Thomas Downey's Key Club volunteered their services
at the March of Dimes. Members of the club arrived early and offered help
setting up booths as well as remaining long after the event had ended to
assist in cleaning up the debris which was left over. Ecstatic about the joy
brought to people when offered a helping hand, members old and new
exclaimed that volunteering in this was simple but fulfilling.
In the meantime, when our services were not needed, members
explored the various booths which were available and listened to the inspiring
stories of survival made possible by March of Dimes. In spirit of the event
members also participated in the five mile walk, greeting and encouraging
people along the way. At the end of the day and immense amount of money
was raised through this event for the March of Dimes and hundreds of people
left inspired by what an impact one community could make!

Meet Your Red Panda Presidents!
Hi my name is Jaiza Borja and I am the president of Gregori High
School's Key Club. This was our first year having Key Club at our school so
we've been through some obstacles throughout the year, but as a "Key
Club Family" we learn to work through those problems. This year we are
looking forward to further improve out club, DCON, Fall Rally, and doing
what we do best, serve our community.
Hey there key clubbers! My name is Summer Cortez, president of Thomas
Downey Key Club. The 2013-2014 year will be my third as a member of Key Club
International and I am extraordinarily proud to have this opportunity to serve.
This year I am excited to expand my home club and educate more students
about the magic of service. By getting more people aware of projects such as
Eliminate and PTP, as well as contributing to the community through service
projects, I want our club to make a difference. I also hope that through the
combined efforts of those involved in our local Key Clubs that the debut of
division 46 north will be a great success!
Hi, my name is Amy Shen. I am the Key Club president for Central
Catholic High School. Since I am personally an international student, I would
like to make Key Club more involved with international affairs. If there is
enough budget, maybe we could travel to some African countries and
produce needed help!!! But that is just an idea! Haha.
Hi, my name is C.J aka Joevel. I am the Key Club president of Beyer High
School's Key Club. I am looking forward to make Key Club for Beyer alive again
and to introduce it to the world! I am also excited to get my club involved with
community service projects. I am proud to represent as a Red Panda. Go D46N!!!

School, where we are apart or Region 12, D46N Red Pandas. I am so honored to be
involved in this organization and be surrounded by the many amazing and
inspirational people whom I've met this year. They have all inspired me to strive in my
pursuit of happiness to become a better leader. Therefore, for our new adventure, I
am positively looking forward in increasing our members and participation! Our club is
also excited to be bigger and better help towards our division and international goals
that are always offered to us. Volunteer opportunities are an essential need for our
Key Club spirit which is why we're always up for it!!!
Hello my name is Mattie Krop. I'm serving as President of the Johansen High
School Key Club. I am looking forward to building my Key Club this year by

On April 8th DCM was held
at Livingston High School. This
DCM was also the Division

with people mingling,
reminiscing about the year, and
clubs and individuals receiving
awards. This was also Brent
DeMayo's last DCM as
Lieutenant Governor and the last
banquet as Division 46. It was
truly a bittersweet event.
