BatteriesTo UK based re-processer where the lead is re-used in the manufacture of new batteries

Fluorescent tubesTo UK based re-processor where glass is recovered and re-used as loft insulation, end caps go to steel making, mercury phosphor powder is distilled and used to produce mercury

TonersEither re-filled or the plastic casings are granulated and washed before being reprocessed into new plastics

SDA (Small Domestic Appliances)Stripped down and all plastic is granulated, non-ferrous and ferrous metals are separated and recycled

LDA (Large Domestic Appliances)Stripped down and all plastic is granulated, non-ferrous and ferrous metals are separated and recycled

Hazardous WEEE (mainly fridges and monitors)De-gassed and made safe before being stripped down and re-processed as above
