[!GPA hardly matters for core companies but a minimum of 7 can be considered decent. Be thorough in Aptitude and English. They not only help in the screening rounds but also help in other competitive exams. And be conceptually clear in at least one of your favourite subjects.

    PRELIMINARY ROUND

Preliminary rounds constitute of online exams to test your aptitude and English skills. If u are well versed with those then u can easily clear those. For some companies GD mat-ters. So u can sit with a group of your friends and practise some mock GDs.

Interviewers mainly try to focus in your weak areas. So do not panic in front of them and answer each and every question with ease.Technically u should be strong in I or 2 sub-jects and be thorough in your PROJECTS. This will help a lot in your technical interview part. For HR u may refer to internet for the questions they ask and the type of answer u should give.Do not try to cheat the interviewers. They are quite experienced.Basically u should have this one thing in mind that u should prove yourself worthy of the company and they should hire u for sure.

Arun Sharma type-I problems for Aptitude.Any good english book is handy{like Wren and Martin),Good text books for branch stuffs and you-tube videos for GD, HR handling questions etc.

ADVICE TD STUDENTS First of all decide whether u want to join or not. Its not like everyone is filling up the form so should I. First of all find your interest and proceed accordingly. And if u work hard prooperly then definitely u are going to be successful.

Aptitude Test-> English Test-> Personal Interview

    PRELIMINARY ROUND

First round was Aptitude which was conducted by CaCubes. lluestians were very basic. CaCubes had already conducted a test far MuSigma. Sa if someone appears a test first, it would became pretty easy ta clear.

    DETAILS OF INTERVIEW

There were 5 profiles. Mine was Apps T wa. With zero programming knowledge, I went onto the interview. The interviewer even asked me whether I know programming, I said no. I clearly stated my reasons. Then he asked me the general HR questions. He also asked me ta salve a puzzle which I was able ta salve.

Far aptitude, one should be quick and accurate. A thorough practice of problems from RS Agrawal will not only help in this company but also in every campus process that involves aptitude test. English test was pretty easy, however same students were surprisingly eliminated from this round. Sa you gotta make sure, you speak each wards

ADVICE TD STUDENTS Capgemini is a great company ta work far. It will provide you global exposure and an opportunity ta enhance your skills. According ta the seniors I have conversed, the work environment is great. It's a big company so big projects are expected ta be dealt with. Eventful life. Nat baring at all.

    PRELIMINARY ROUND

First round was online test which consisted of basic aptitude questions.

Interview varied from candidate to candidate. I faced mostly HR questions. I felt they were looking for street smart people. I was asked whether I knew programming which I clearly denied. I also gave them the reasons behind my lack of programming knowledge. Then he threw a puzzle at me which I was able to solve. They were really cool people. So it wont he a stress interview. Communication skill is also one major factor that can ensure your suc-cess. So improve your communication skill if you feel that you are weak at that.

Dne needs to practice as many problems as he/she can solve from RS Agrawal hook or any standard aptitude hook available in market.Test was conducted by CoCuhes. It had earlier coordinated the test for MuSigma, so it was pretty easy to crack the test because many of the questions were repeated.

ADVICE TD STUDENTS As far as reputation is concerned, CAPGEMINI is one of the corporate giants and one of the best companies to work for. But then again, it is you and your interest that should decide which company you should join. For GMAT aspiring people, few years of experience in this company can come in handy. As per my discussion with seniors and alumni, the work culture is quite cool hut I can't tell that for sure until I join. Read the reviews at Glassdoor to know more about this company.

These two Pl rounds were elimination rounds and consisted of technical and HR questions. The fifth and the final round was an interview with the C:TDs (C:hief Technical Officers) which was basically a 'fit interview'. This was an elimination round tao.

    PRELIMINARY ROUND

APTITUDE TEST: The first round was a pen and paper-based test. The questions in the 'quantitative abili-ty' section were a hit an the tougher side, while the 'logical reasoning' and 'verbal abili-ty' questions were quite easy. However, same questions were phrased slightly ambigu-ously and led ta same confusion during the test.

GRDUP DISCUSSION: Ta start off, I was a hit nervous about this particular round. Sa, I focused an speaking at least twice during the GD round and concentrated an accumulating the views of other people and then putting forth my opinion. I avoided getting into a direct conflict with any of my group members and tried putting my paint across while maintaining the harmony of the group. HR INTERVIEW: The HR questions were quite straightforward and the interviewers were very friendly. I was asked about my hobbies and the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities that I was involved in. They also sought to know if I had been involved in any leadership positions before and how I had managed my team. Lastly, they wanted ta know my motivation behind applying far the company and asked me what role I wanted to take up if I was selected far the job.

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW: I was asked very detailed questions related to my internships and my other project works. They wanted ta determine whether I was aware of the practical applications and the minute details of the projects that I had worked on. Apart from that, I was asked numer-ous technical questions related ta 'Mass Transfer', 'Heat Transfer', 'Thermodynamics', 'Nanotechnology', etc. Overall, the technical interviews were quite extensive and rigorous.

BEHAVIORAL INTERVIEW: This was the fifth and the final round of the overall process and consisted of a 'Skype' in-terview with two Chief Technical Officers (CTDs) of ITC-PCPB. This was a 15-20 minutes long affair and was basically a 'fit interview'. However, this also turned out to be an elimi-nation round and only two out of four candidates were eventually selected. I was asked a variety of questions related to my daily life and the points that I had mentioned in my CV. I was also asked what my expectations were if I was selected far the job and where I see myself 4-5 years down the line after I join the company.

Calcu-lation speeds matter a lot in this regard. Personally, I had just solved 15-20 questions in total. each question of a different kind, before the written test. You need to assess your specific strengths and strike the right balance between speed and accuracy.

GROUP DISCUSSION: I didn't resort to any elaborate preparation to get through the GD round. For the GD rounds, try to he in touch with day-ta-day matters and have a basic idea about how differ-ent topics are shaping up all around the world. Focus on making valid and reasonable points in the GD and don't just blabber for the sake of speaking. Try to he a part of the group and the solution making process. The groups that have better understanding and consistency in the GD rounds are more likely to experience less eliminations.

HR INTERVIEWS: For the HR questions, I ploughed ITC's official website and gathered information related to the work that they do and determined how my interests and abilities best suited their purpose. I focused on giving clear answers and avoided inconsistencies and confusions.

TECHNICAL INTERVIEWS: For countering the technical questions, I went through the major subjects and focused on the concepts that were most likely to he asked in an interview. I emphasized on conceptu-al clarity and applications rather than memorizing definitions or formulae. I had done two summer research internships in my second year and third year. I did a similar kind of preparation regarding the proj-ects that I had been a part of within the institute.

They wanted to determine whether I was aware of the practical applications and the minute details of the projects that I had worked on. Apart from that, I was asked numer-ous technical questions related to 'Mass Transfer', 'Heat Transfer', 'Thermodynamics', 'Nanotechnology', etc. Overall, the technical interviews were quite extensive and rigorous.

There was a single interview which had both technical and HR interviewers. There were five senior level employees in the interview panel. Dne of them started asking rapid fire questions from chemical engineering topics such as Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Fluid-ized Beds, Pumps and Thermodynamics. For the test, if you have basic knowledge about chemical engineering it is sufficient. Topics to focus on are Mass Transfer, Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Fluid mechan-ics. Numericals were only asked on Pumps. For the interview, try to be as honest as possi-ble. They like frank and honest candidates. There were no questions on why do you want to join their company.
