— medium to medium dark green; highly foliated to banded @45-50 deg. to core axis

- l-2% very fine grained lite brown disseminated leucoxene- locally very sparsely amygdaloidal- moderate intensity of pervasive calcite alteration and

thin pinkish calcite veinlets— 2 — 3% fine disseminated pyrite occurs in more highly

calcite veined sections- lower contact gradational over 1.5*

PILLOWED, AMYGDALOIDAL VOLCANIC

- medium to medium dark green; probably of Mg-tholeilticcomposition

- moderately to locally highly foliated @ 40-45 deg. to coreaxis

- pillow rims are moderately thin (.3-. 4"), trend 70-80 deg.to core axis, and contain 15/5 calcite, 1 7. pyrite, minorfine magnetite

- amygdules are common to abundant, calcite filled,elongate, to 0.3" in long dimension

- very weakly in situ fracture brecciated- first 30' of unit highly foliated with high intensity of

calcite-quartz veinlets- occasional thin pink quartz veinlets- 0.5Z fine disseminated magnetite

- 760.8-761.8 - several banded quartz-carbonate veins ininterval

- veins contain 1 07. p ale brown carbonate; 2 Z f inedisseminated pyrite; 2 7. f ine tourmaline bands
