RECOMMENDED SETTINGS IN ZOOM
Based on our experience of using Zoom to date, on the requirements for Lectures and
Committee meetings, and the ease of Members to join the meeting, we show below the
recommended Account settings. Once you have set these, they will apply to all your
meetings, unless you change the settings when scheduling a new event.

From 16th July Zoom requires either a Password or Waiting Room (see below) being
enabled: we recommend the Waiting Room option as long as you remember to admit
people during the Meeting. A co-host can be asked to look after that, just as you
normally have someone register your Members and visitors on arrival.

It is important that you enable the Co-host function.

The Show a “Join from your browser” link allows people to join your meeting without
having to download Zoom. This may not work on tablets.
