RECOMMENDATION
As Professor of Korean studies at university of Le Hawe, I am writing toyou in support of Thomas GREVEDON and his desire to attend Leidenuniversity for the Master degree in Korean Studies. Though many studentsask me to make this request on their behalf, I only recommend studentswhom I feel are well-suited for the program of their choice. Thomas is oneof those students. I highly recommend him for being given the opportunityto attend your university. He leaves our university because we don't haveany master degree deepening and magniÿing programme in Korean Studies.
I have had the pleasure of having Thomas as student in my class during thepast one year. Thomas has shown the ability to establish an excellentrapport with his classmates and professors and very calm and serious as wellas in his studies than his relationship.
I first met Thomas in my "Korean culture" and "Korean Language forbeginners"course during the 2 sernesters. compared to the class average of12/20, Thomas Grevedon earned a 17120 in the class. Thomas was evaluatedon exams, papers and presentation in which he performed exceptionally well.
Though Thomas has consistently exceeded in all areas of his coursework, the best example of his promise is indicated in a presentation on "specialEconomic zones in North Korea". The work clearly showed his ability todeliver a clear, concise and well-thought analyse with a new perspective bydemonstrating the necessity of cooperating with it's neighbour countries inorder the political regime to be survived.
Thomas Grevedon continues to impress me with his knowledge, skill anddedication to his work. I'm sure you will find him to be a highly motivated, competent, and committed student who will grow into a successfulprofessional achievement. In closing, I recommend without reservation.Thomas Grevedon for admission to the Ma'ster degree in Korean studies atLeiden university. Please feel free to contact me if you require furtherinformation.
Sincerely,
Le Hawe, the 21't Apt'rl2014
