ICE-CREAM SPIDERSERVES 4 TAKES 5 MINUTES

YOU’LL NEED: Chocolate syrup 4 milkshake glasses 4 scoops of ice-cream (we used vanilla

flavour) 4 long spoons 4 straws 1.5 litres of soft drink (we used Coke) 1 can of whipped cream 4 maraschino cherries

TO MAKE:1 Pour 2 tbsp of chocolate syrup into each glass. Place two scoops of ice-cream on top. Add spoon and straw.2 Pour soft drink up to 3cm below the rim of the glasses.3 Squirt whipped cream on top. Drizzle over more chocolate syrup.4 To serve, place a cherry on top.

CHOC TOPSSERVES 4 TAKES 20 MINUTES

YOU’LL NEED: 1 punnet of ice-cream (we

used salted caramel flavour) 4 ice-cream cones 1 bottle of Cottee’s Chocolate

Ice Magic Crushed almonds (you could

also use sprinkles)

TO MAKE:1 Make one at a time. Start by scooping ice-cream into the cone, packing it full. Place a rounded scoop on the top.2 Working quickly, pour Ice Magic over the ice-cream so it completely covers the top. Sprinkle on almonds (or sprinkles) and immediately place in the freezer.3 Repeat with the other three cones, one at a time.4 Leave in the freezer at least 15 minutes before serving, so the ice-cream stays frozen.


NACHOS IN A BAGSERVES 4 TAKES 30 MINUTES

YOU’LL NEED: 1 tsp of olive oil ½ brown onion, chopped 500g of mince 1 packet of taco seasoning 2 large packets of corn chips 2 tomatoes, chopped 1 avocado, sliced ½ cup of salsa ½ cup of sour cream 1 cup of grated cheese

TO MAKE:1 Pour oil in a frying pan and place on the stove on medium heat. Add chopped onion and fry until onion is translucent (about two minutes).2 Add mince and cook until browned.3 Sprinkle taco seasoning over mince and pour in ½ cup of water. Stir until combined, turn to low heat and cook for 10 minutes. Then set aside to cool for 5 minutes.4 To serve, open bags of corn and spoon mince evenly into bags. Add remaining ingredients, and eat straight from the bag!
