INTRODUCTION
This report will deal with the results of a ground geophysical program carried out over a group of claims located in Browning and Amyot Townships.
Falconbridge Exploration contracted the services of Exsics Exploration Limited to complete the program during the months of March and April 1995.
The purpose of the program was to locate and outline a series of airborne targets which had been detected across the property. It was thought that these targets may represent structural horizons which would be suitable areas for base metal deposition.
PROPERTY LOCATION AND ACCESS
The property is situated in the west section of Browning Township and the east section of Amyot Township. Figure 2 and 3. Meteor Creek generally flows northwest to southeast across the southwest corner of the property. The entire block is situated approximately 40 km southeast of the Town of Gogama and is within the Mininig District of Larder Lake. Figure 2.
Access to the property during the survey period was by truck along a plowed winter logging road which runs off of a gravel road linking Westree, Shining Tree and Gowganda. Figure 2. This road would also provide summer access to the area.
CLAIM GROUP
The claim numbers which compose the property are as follows:
L-1191299 L-1191300 L-1191301 L-1191303 L-1191304 L-1191306 L-1223257
Refer to Figure 3, copied from the MNDM Plan Map of Browning and Amyot Townships.
PERSONNEL
The field crew directly involved with the collection of data were Richard and Robin Mathieu of Timmins, Ontario. The plotting and computer compilation was done by P. Gauthier of Exsics Exploration Limited. The overall program was completed under the direct supervison of J. C. Grant.
GROUND PROGRAM
This program consisted of a detailed metric grid first being established across the property. This grid, once completed would control the ground follow-up geophysical program.

LINECDTTIHG
A detailed metric grid was first established across the property. This consisted of 100 meter line spacing which were chained with 20 meter station intervals to the boundaries of the block. A portion of the southern most claims had to be abandoned, due to excessive flooding. In all, a total of 71.5 km of grid lines were established across the property.
GEOPHYSICAL PROGRAM
This consisted of a HLEM survey utilizing the Apex Max Min II System. Specifications for this system can be found as Appendix A of this report.
The following parameters were kept constant throughout the survey.
Linespacing Station spacing Coil Seperation Theoretical Search Depth Frequencies Read Unit Accuracy Parameters Measured
-100 meters-20 meters-150 meters-75-90 meters-1777 Hz, 444HZ- +/-0.5*-inphase and quadrature components of the secondary field.
The collected data was then directly plotted onto a mylar base map, one map for each frequency, and profiled at l cm to */- 20%. All conductor axis and characteristics were placed directly onto these base maps for quick reference. A copy of these maps are included in the back pocket of this report.
SURVEY RESULTS
The HLEM Survey was successful in outlining several moderate conductive trends across the grid. These features will be discussed separately and in detail.
Zone A:
This feature represents the most predominant structure on the grid. It has a strike length in excess of 1000 meters and ranges in depth from 40 to 75 meters. The conductivity of the zone is moderate at 4 to 6 Mhos.
Zone B;
This feature parllels the strike of Zone A and runs across lines 6300MN to 6600MN. The zone appears to represent a moderate conductor situated at a depth of 70-75 meters with moderate conductivity of 3 to 4 Mhos.
-
Page 3
Zone C:
This feature also appears to relate to a moderate conductive zone situated at a depth of 65 to 70 meters with a conductivity of 5 Mhos.
Zone D:
This feature 4^90* represents a short conductive zone situated at a depth of 45 meters with a conductivity of 8 Mhos.
Zone E:
Again this feature represents a moderate conductor of 4 Mhos, situated at a depth of 60 meters. At this writing it is only a single line response and would require further follow-up.
Two other targets were outlined. The first crosses lines 5900MN and 5800MN and may extend as far as 5700MN. The zone lies at a depth of 70-75 meters with moderate conductivity of 4 Mhos.
The second zone strikes across lines 5400MN to 5200MN and appears to represent a weak deep zone. In fact, this feature may be the southern extension of Zone A.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
The ground HLEM Survey was successful in locating and outlining a number of moderate conductive zones across the property. Most of the features appears to relate to legitimate bedrock conductors.
A follow-up program should consist of a detailed geological survey which may help in determining the conductive zones and in prioritizing the zones for future drilling programs.
Respectfully Submitted,
John C. Grant CET FGAC
