If you’re building a new home, consider an ENERGY STAR home. We offer a $500 rebate. These homes are designed and built to standards well above most other homes on the market today, delivering comfort and energy-efficiency savings of up to 30% when compared to other new homes. To qualify, the home must have all ENERGY STAR features and be certified by an independent home energy rater.

REBATE PROCESS • Complete the rebate form. • Submit the following information: - Completed rebate form; and - A copy of the detailed receipt.

ELIGIBILITY • Applicant must be member of record for an active Blue Ridge Energy account. • Rebates are available for residential members only. • Work must be completed by a contractor. • Limit one rebate per measure, per account. • Heating source must be electric. • Home must be at least 5 years old. • Insulation in floor/crawl space must be upgraded to R19 or greater. • Insulation in ceiling/attic must be upgraded to R30 or greater. • Failure to provide required information may result in denial of rebate. • Blue Ridge Energy reserves the right to amend or discontinue this program without notice. • Rebates are available for measures installed after May 1, 2016.
