Some of my teaching experiences include classroom observations and personal experience of what to and not to do in the classroom. My current job allows me to see the administrative side of how a school should function. I am able to see the different levels of evaluations, student accommodations, lesson plans and disciplinary outcomes. With this experience I can help ease my way from being a teacher into the administrative side of education, which happens to be my ultimate goal. Teaching Experience

Several forms of technology that will be utilized in the classroom are Elmos. I will have clickers, which allows students to click in for a pop quiz question and other various activities. We will have access to laptops, iPads and to audio books. Google classroom will also be an alternative source for my students to access, when school is missed so that they can view the days assignment. Tech to teach

I think the most important thing for me as a future educator is helping utilize productive technology tools that can be used on a daily basis. Being able to have my students know how to properly work the device to its maximum capacity, would be my first goal. I believe that we can have a lot of technology in the classroom but if it is not user friendly then we have no real reason to promote its use. Teachers should be trained on how to work the equipment in order for them to show their students how to utilize these tools in the classroom. Through professional development and peer department planning we can help each other in fortifying our lesson plans and student achievement levels. Whats important to me

My favorite theory would be Erik Eriksons and his adolescent stage. In this stage he emphasizes on how important it is for teens, ages 12 through 18 to develop a sense of what is right from wrong. How they will go through a trial period of finding a sense of morality. How this period is crucial for them to be able to move forward in life and with their role in society. As a teacher I will try and help develop their morality in the right direction. By bonding with my students and giving them support as a teacher and as an adult, in order to help them identify what their role and contribution to society will be. MY FAVORITE THEORY

I never really thought of what kind of method I would use to teach but after the past few months I have slowly learned different approaches to help me form relationships to my future students. I have been given an insight of why teenagers act they way they do, why things are seen through a different scope than what adults see. I have also been introduced to different online sites where we can utilize various ways of introducing new material to our students. I would have to say that through this semesters assignment I have new material in which I can incorporate into my classroom. By creating a positive and productive learning environment within my classroom I can help establish personal expectations and goals with all of my students. I want them to become independent and more self-driven than ever before. I want my students to feel a sense of security and trust with me, so they know that I can help them in any way and how I want the best for them. All in all, I hope to be able to help each student on their own level, help them learn and to know that they too, can achieve their goals.MY TEACHING METHODS

With a school that has little to no technology, electronics can now help stretch the classroom aspect of learning outside the school walls. By providing the students with alternative sites to access learning lessons and by teaching them to continue learning through electronic devices, test scores and student grades will begin to increase. Students can become more independent and receive personalized teaching through electronic classroom technology. I believe that all schools should be granted the opportunity to provide state of the art technology and devices to their students. Not only will this allow the student to become more tech-savy but also help prepare them for future endeavors. NEW TECHNOLOGY = NEW SCHOOL

Technologys impact on our students

Incorporating of web-based research projects.Using Elmo to present Kahoot-it questionnaires.Providing an alternative website to increase student learning after school hoursRequiring group assignments be submitted as Prezis, PowerPoints and/or Video recordings to help utilize and strengthen student knowledge. Incorporate Google classroom to help prepare students for college courses and online submissions.
