DESCRIPTION

ARDIS Real-Time is a complete label printing package that enables label printing synchronized with part production at the saw.

Page 2: Real Time Labels

• Label printer stationed at the panel saw.

• Optimization software creates the cutting instructions.

• Optimized patterns are sent to the saw.

The Process…

Page 3: Real Time Labels

• The saw cuts a part and signals the label printer.• ARDIS Real-Time intercepts and translates the

signal into a label report

Page 4: Real Time Labels

• A label is printed at a compatible label printer

• The label is placed on the part

Page 5: Real Time Labels

• Edgebanding information is listed on the part label.• The part is sent to the edgebander (as required).

Page 6: Real Time Labels

• The barcode is scanned….

• The CNC program is loaded.

Page 7: Real Time Labels

• Label printing is synchronized with part production so that parts can be labeled as soon

as they are produced. This reduces confusion and ensures that finished parts are

immediately identifiable.

• In conjunction with a barcode scanner, parts can be scanned at multiple machining

centers and the appropriate program automatically loaded onto the machine.

The Benefits…

• Increases the service life of mechanically sound

machinery that is running outdated software by giving it

the capabilities of a modern machine.

• Off fall can be labeled and placed onto racks for future use. Scanning the label of an off

fall piece automatically loads the sheet dimensions into the optimizers material inventory

for use in optimizations.

• Reduces errors associated with mislabeled or unlabeled parts.

The Benefits…

• Reduces operator labor time by simplifying the process

of labeling and sorting parts.
