ISTEP-ASSESSMENT UPDATE

ISTEP is right around the corner. All 3rd and 4th

graders will be taking the first round of ISTEP

testing March 2 through March 11. Please avoid

scheduling appointments that would require your

child to miss school during the ISTEP testing

window. The second round of ISTEP testing is

scheduled for April 27 through May 15.

IREAD-3 Your 3rd grader will be taking the IREAD-3 March 16,

17 and 18. This is a test required by the state of

Indiana for all students in third grade. The IREAD-3

evaluates reading skills. There is only a 3 day

testing window for the IREAD-3 so please make sure

your child is in attendance for the assessment. Any

make-up tests will be administered during the

summer. For more information about IREAD-3 and
