Once this feature is activated, members can simply follow the process outlined in this guide to quickly and easily deactivate and reactivate their plastics with the touch of a button. Behind the scenes, CU*BASE simply sends a “warm status” code to the vendor thatallows the card to be reactivated again at a later time (but don't worry, cards that have been permanently blocked by credit union staff cannot be overriden by members within the app).
