We first opened in 1980 in Chauncey Hill Mall. Four years ago we moved to our new location at 2060 US 52 West in the Market West Shopping Center.

Our practice opened 32 years ago in 1981.

Winning the Reader’s Choice Award for the 5th year in a row is very humbling. We are very grateful for all the wonderful friends that have passed through our doors over the years. I say “friends” vs. patients, because as we work to make those pretty smiles together, we really become friends. There are a lot of wonderful people in the Lafayette area, and it seems we have attracted more than our fair share.



We work hard to do it “right”. We use the golden rule attitude and treat our friends as we would want to be treated. Sometimes that means we don’t use a shortcut or two, and both the staff and Dr. Burns may have to work a bit harder. We all enjoy what we do and take pride in those beautiful smiles that leave our office. It feels great to be improving self-confidence and dental health and to know that our efforts are appreciated. This has been well received and helps make the screen-ing process easier, especially for families with more than one child. Don’s Barber Shop was established in 1958 by Don Metzger. Harold Witz took over the operation of the business in 1993.

Ever since I can remember I have had a strong pas-sion for health and fitness.
