The Readers’ Choice bal-lots have been counted! We had a great response to our contest this year and busi-

nesses throughout Wakulla County have been chosen by our readers as the favorites in their specific business category. Congratulations to all those businesses who were chosen as our Readers’ Choice!

We would like to thank our readers who took the time to complete the ballots and mail or bring them into The Wakulla News office. We have made contact with all the winners in each cat-egory and have presented them with their Readers’ Choice Winner certificates.

Each category has a Read-ers’ Choice Winner and a first Runner Up, and some of the categories include an Honorable Mention because the results were too close for comfort.

This year was the second year The Wakulla News of-fered the Readers’ Choice promotion, which has been very popular each year in the communities of our company’s other 57 com-munity newspapers. We are very pleased that our read-ers responded in such a posi-tive manner and we look to

update and possibly increase our categories every year. We are always open to sug-gestions from our readers on additional categories and businesses to be added.
