Current concept of NPP power unit preparation for decommissioning

▪ Deferred dismantling is determined for the following NPP'sunits*:

– Novovoronezh NPP, Units Nos. 1, 2

– Kola NPP, Units Nos. 1‐4

– Bilibino NPP, all Units

▪ An approach is adopted to multiunit NPP decommissioning,where the first NNP unit, located on the site, isdecommissioned under deferred dismantling option:

– Balakovo NPP, Unit No. 1

– Kalinin NPP, Unit No. 1

– Rostov NPP, Unit No. 1

▪ For all other units, including RBMK, the concept "immediatedismantling" decommissioning option is adopted.

For the majority of NPP units decommissioning is 

determined under "immediate dismantling" strategy
