BEWARE THE DAY OF YHWH

The emanate Return of the Mashiyach: From the scriptures we know that the Mashiyach will return immediately after the Great Tribulation of 3

1/2 Years

Mattiyahu 24:29

immediately after the oppression of those days, the luminary orb shall be turned to darkness, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall out from the heavens, with the forces of the

heavens, they shall be toppled

According to Chanówkh 89:32-33, this is the time of the judgment of the stars (envoys) which left the heavens before the Flood to cross with women and corrupt the earth, and the forces of the Adversary,

already defeated, will give way

I saw all the sheep which remained [144,000 remnant] be in the middle of it, the beasts of the earth, and all the birds of the sky bowing to render homage to these sheep, petitioning them, and obeying them in

everything.

[Great Multitude]

Page 2: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Chanówkh returns before YHWH’s judgment

commences

Then those three who were clothed in white, and those who had elevated me before, took me by the hand and also the ibex took my hand and placed me in the midst of these sheep [144,000], before the

judgment took place.

[Chanówkh returns before YHWH’s judgment commences )

7th seal These sheep were all white, and their wool abundant and pure. Then all who had been destroyed or

dispersed by the beasts of the field and the birds of the sky were congregated into that house [regrafted in – first resurrection] and the Sovereign of the sheep rejoiced with great joy because all were good and

because they had returned to His house.

Mattiyahu 24:30 And then

Disclosure 7: 2

“And I saw another envoy having ascended from the rising of the luminary orb, holding the seal of the Living mighty One.”

shall the Sign of the Son of ’Âthâ´m appear in the skies, and then shall all the races of the earth beat their

breasts in grief ,

Page 3: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

“Yehuwthím” beat their breasts in grief and

recognized Who He was

Another parallel between Yâhuwshúa` and His people Y'Isra'al as in

Yshá`Yâhuw 53.

After Yâhuwshúa` was killed, the “Yehuwthím” beat their breasts in grief and recognized Who He was, having seen the signs at His death. He died so we who believe in Him might live. Y'Isra'al also will die,

with great signs accompanying, for their apostasy, so the heathens might live seeing the consequences of rebellion.

It will be our chance to reach them before they harden again as the “Yehuwthím” did.

and then they shall see the Son of ’Âthâ´m coming over the clouds of the sky with great Force and Honour

Márquwç 13: 26

And then shall the Sign of the Son of ’Âthâ´m appear in the skies, and then shall all the races of the earth beat their breasts in grief , and then they shall see the Son of ’Âthâ´m, coming in clouds amid great Force

and Honour and great radiance.

Page 4: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

YOM TARUAH

Immediately after the 3 1/2 years comes the

1st Day of the 7th Month

which is the Feast of Trumpets, in the Hebrew called

YOM TARUAH

(Day of Great Noise).

Page 5: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Mashiyach will Return on the Feast of Trumpets.

The scriptures indicate that the HOUR of the Mashiyach s Return will be at

12 (NOON)

Yirmeyahu20:16;

And let that man be like the cities that YHWH overthrew without regretting [it] (though He heard the outcry in the morning and the alarm at noon-time),

The cities: S’dom and Ghamorah.

Amos 8:9;

“And in that day [the way] it will be,” declares Aluahiym YHWH, “[is] that I will cause the sun to go in at noon, and make the Land dark on the day of light.

Zech.14:1-21;

II Thessalonians 2:8;

And then the Lawless One will be revealed, whom YHWH Yâhuwshúa` will take away with the breath of His mouth

Page 6: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

This is their eye throughout the whole earth

Yshá`Yâhuw 37: 7,

"'I am here [and am] issuing a wind against him.

Moreover, he has heard a report and [begun to] return to his own land, and there I will cause him to fall by the sword.'"

ZkharYâ´hu 5: 6-11

So I said, “What is it?”

And He said, “This is the ephah that goes forth.”

He also said,

“This is their eye throughout the whole earth.”

Their eye: or, wellspring, the fountain from which a counterfeit “truth” flows. Ephah: a dry measure equivalent to ten omers (Shemot 16:36). Since an omer is the amount needed to feed one man for one

day (16:16), it represents one man. Ten men represents a minyan (quorum), and thus symbolizes a complete congregation. So this measuring basket represents a congregation just as the flying scroll did, focusing us even more clearly to the conclusion that this whole chapter is speaking about the Church as

the counterfeit tabernacle, overemphasizing YHWH’s grace and underemphasizing the Sacredness YHWH requires where His presence is to dwell. To a lesser degree it also represents rabbinic Judaism, another

twisting of the Torah for the purposes of convenience and a lust for power (originally).

Page 7: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

The day of the sun.

And, lo and behold, a [whirling] round talent-weight of lead was lifted off, and this singular woman was sitting inside the ephah [basket].

Round talent-weight: all one term in Hebrew. In the context of the flying scroll, it probably represents the winged sun-disk so common as a pagan symbol, the Raukh of which the Church adopted by emphasizing the “day of the Sun”. This came about by allowing the woman to teach YâHuWsHúa

’´servants. (Rev. 2) She is the Raukh of Yisabel (Jezebel), which means “exalted husband”, and one who exalts herself over her husband. By claiming the right to change the Sabbath and the festivals, the Church

also steals YâHuWsHúa’ authority. Singular: or unified.

But YHWH is building a unified man. (Eph. 2:15)

And He said, “This is the Lawlessness,” and He flung it into the midst of the ephah, and cast the leaden stone [weight] into its mouth.

The Lawlessness: a “mystery” which is held back at present, but will not always be. (2 Thess. 2:7) But when it is released, it will be judged.

Page 8: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Greater authority than the Torah

Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and, lo and behold, two women came forth with the wind in their wings. Now they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they suspended the ephah between the earth

and the heavens.

Stork: an unclean bird, but the same word as the Hebrew term for a faithful, pious woman. They represent those in both houses of Y'Isra'al who are returning to YHWH’s covenant, while still unclean and

in exile, yet doing the job YHWH has for us now. Between the earth and the heavens: a plane where visions are seen (1 Chron. 21:16; Y’hezq’El/Ezek. 8:3) Place was found in neither for it. (Dan. 2:35)

And I asked the messenger who was speaking to me where they were going with the ephah, and he told me, “To build a house for her in the land of Shinar, and it will be fastened and left there on its own base.

Shinar: where the Tower of Bavel, the seat of the first unification of mankind--against YHWH--after the Flood. It was a place designed to withstand another flood, and corresponds with the sense the Church has of being above and immune to judgment, and even having authority greater than the Torah, which

YâHuWsHúa would not claim for Himself. Base: or, resting-place. Note that this is not a foundation YHWH designed, but its own creation. So it is going back to where it belongs, and will not be permitted to move

from there. Babylon is also called a woman in Rev. 17 and 18. Perhaps this correlates with haSajan’s being bound for 1,000 years. (Rev. 20:2)

and render entirely idle by the sign above (epiphany) of His coming

Page 9: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

I saw, O King, from the heavens a Light

Acts 26:13;

At mid-day along the way, I saw, O King, from the heavens a Light, greater than the brightness of the luminary orb, illuminating around me and those traveling together with me;

Habakkuk 3:2-6;

. “O YHWH, I heard Your report, and was afraid. O YHWH, revive Your work in the midst of the years! Make it known in the midst of the years! When You are perturbed, remember to be compassionate!

In the midst of the years: He was told the vision was for the end times. (2:3) Havaqquq may also have been asking YHWH to do something about the Chaldeans in his own days as well! Remember to be

compassionate: related to the curse “Lo-Ruhamah” in Hoshea 1, which applied to the Northern Kingdom. This may be a veiled reference to YHWH’s not forgetting about us either. Aramaic, “remember the

righteous who do Your will.” He now returns to his prophesying:

“Aloah will come from Theyman, and the Holy One from Mount Pa’aran.

Think about it.

His splendor has covered the skies, and His renown fills the land!

Page 10: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Concealing of his strength

Theyman:

now equated with Yemen, but at that time possibly only as far south as Edom; the name is related to the word for “right hand”, since when properly “oriented” to the east, the south is on the right hand. Pa’aran: An allusion to Deut. 33:2. The name means “especially beautiful”, and denotes an area south of the Land of Y'Isra'al proper,

west of the Aravah, and north of what is now known (incorrectly) as Sinai.

“His shining brightness has become like the light; He has rays [of light] from His hand, and the concealing of its strength is there.

Rays of light: literally, horns; Aramaic, sparks issued from His glorious chariot; there He revealed His sh’kinah, which was hidden from the sons of man in the high fastness.

. “A [destructive] word goes before Him, and flaming sparks went forth to His feet.

Destructive word: or, pestilence. The Aramaic targum identifies this as the angel of death.

“He stood and measured a land; He looked and the nations were shaken loose, and the ancient mountains scattered themselves. The hills sank down [in humility] forever; to Him belong the traveling's of eternity.

Measured a land: Aramaic, shook the earth. Traveling's: or steps, caravans, traveling companies.

Page 11: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Behold the image of YHWH

Hebrews 1:3

Who, being the Irradiator of His Honour and the Likeness of His Essence

Numbers 12: 8

With him I speak directly, and plainly, not in [enigmatic] proverbs, and he will behold the image of YHWH. Why were you not afraid to speak against my bondservant Moshe?“

I.e., “If I wanted him to divorce his wife, I would have told him to!” They did not even answer, which was wiser than making excuses. Directly: literally, mouth to mouth. YâHuWsHúa told his students, similarly, that while he spoke in parables to the crowds, he spoke plainly to them. (Mat. 13) But he only explained

the significance to them when they asked for it. The truth is mysterious to those who are not learned, but simple to those who draw near. Behold the image of YHWH: This is the same terminology used of Âthâ'm (Gen. 1:27) What is it that made Âthâ'm like Aluahiym? Âthâ'm was made to need company, and YHWH created Âthâ'm because He wanted to share Himself with another. We could paraphrase this as saying,

“Moshe sees My essence; He understands Me, while no one else seems to.” Avraham, David, and YâHuWsHúa were others about whom He could say the same—they were His friends, but were also called

His servants, because they went beyond casual relationships and actually tended to YHWH’s “needs”. They were all like Eliezer, Avraham’s servant, in this respect.

Page 12: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Through Himself accomplished the cleansing of

our sins

.

Someone who could be trusted to do a job even when it would cost him the inheritance was worthy indeed. Moshe may have had to be pushed into his job, but he proved trustworthy—the greatest

compliment YHWH could give him. The idea that YHWH loves everyone equally is clearly thus unscriptural. Even among these three of the greatest prophets who ever lived, YHWH had His favourite (compare 1 Shmuel 13:14). Moshe would not have made the golden calf. If Miryam had been the one

chosen to lead, Moshe would not have complained. Those whom He equips and yet fail too many times will simply not be given the job again. He calls whom He chooses to call. If we are not content with

where YHWH puts us, and cannot stop thinking, “Why does so-and-so get more than I do?”, we will never know joy. Instead, we should aim to be among His favourites.

both bearing all things for the Word of His Force, and having through Himself accomplished the cleansing of our sins, He did sit down at the right-hand side of the Greatness on high,

Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 14: 28

Ye heard that I said to you that I am going away, yet I am coming towards you. If ye affectionately love Me, ye will rejoice that I said:

“I am going to My Father”

for My Father is the Greatness which is from Me .

Page 13: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

“And He [is the one who] will build YHWH’s

Temple

ZkharYâ´hu 6: 13 ,

“And He [is the one who] will build YHWH’s Temple, and He will take up the majesty, and He will sit and reign on His throne. He will also be a priest [while] on His throne, and peace will come about [from the]

deliberation between the two of them.

Majesty: Heb., hod, which comprises both splendour and vigour. Peace: Heb., shalom, which means complete well-being and soundness. A priest while on His throne: an abnormal situation in Y'Isra'al,

where the division between these two offices is clear since they are from different tribes. (2 Chron. 26:18) Melchitzedeq and Y’shua are the only ones that legally hold both posts. Deliberation: exchange of

counsel, purpose, even conspiring. In other words, the proper, most healthy balance of earthly rule and relationship with Heaven will at last be achieved as a result of His holding both of these positions in the Kingdom. Compare Y’hezq’El 45:17; 46:4, where we see the Prince responsible for offering sacrifices in the Temple. So Y’shua, who in one sense superseded the sacrificial system (Heb. 9:11 et al), will be the

very one to restore it

Yâhuwchânâ´n’s Glad Tidings 17:3,

These things are endless life: that they should acknowledge You, that You are the only true mighty One and from the Anointed Whom You sent forth, Yâhuwshúa`.

To the `Ivriym 9: 11

But the Anointed Who has come is the High Priest of His Goodness , coming through the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made by hand – that is not of this manufacture –

Page 14: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

“Fall upon us! And hide us

The Great Day of YHWH and the Return of the Mashiyach is one and the same event

Rev.6:16-17;

And they were saying to the mountains and to the hollow rocks,

“Fall upon us! And hide us

Howshë´`á 10: 8,

Also to be annihilated are the cultic platforms of Aven, by which Y'Isra'al misses the target; thorn bush and thistles [are what] will ascend on their altars, and they will say to the mountains, “Cover us up!” and

to the hills, “Fall on us!”

Ascend: a play on the typical description of how one would approach an altar. Cover us up: or conceal us. YâHuWsHúa quoted this last passage on His way to His death (Luke 23:30), and Rev. 6:16 places its time frame in the last days of this age when the great day of YHWH’s wrath comes. So we can deduce that this

will still be going on in some manner among some of the people of the Northern Kingdom in the days ahead as Y’shua prepares to return.

Page 15: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

!”’ from the Face of the Lamb……that is come!

Luwqá’ 23: 30

That is when you ‘…shall begin to say to the mountains: “Fall upon us!” And to the hills: “Conceal us!”’ from the Face of the Lamb……that is come! And who is able to stand the great Day of His

wrath?”

Mal’âkhíy 3:2

But who can endure the day of his coming? And who is the one [who will be] standing when he appears? Because he is like a smelter’s fire, and like a fuller’s lye.

The return of the Mashiyach will not be what people expect. It will not be a painless transition, but unless we are willing to enter into this Raukh of purging, we will not arrive at his Kingdom. Smelter: one who puts metal ore through very hot fire to test it and prove its strength. Fuller: one who makes a sheep’s wool “full” by shrinking it with water, stomping on it, pressing it out, and cleaning it with lye (a full-

strength, caustic soap).

Page 16: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Polished: or choice, select, pure, proven.

Dis19:15;

And from His mouth projects forth a sharp sword

[Yshá`Yâhuw 49: 2]

and He made my mouth like a sharp sword; He has drawn me back into the shadow of His hand. He has appointed me to be a polished arrow; He has concealed me within His quiver,

Polished: or choice, select, pure, proven.

[Disclosure 1: 16, 2:

He has hidden Me within the shadow of His hand, and He makes Me into a polished arrow – He has concealed Me into His quiver., in order that by it, He might smite the heathen masses, and He shall shepherd them with an

iron sceptre, and He Himself

[Yshá`Yâhuw 63: 3]

I have trodden the winepress alone, and from the peoples there was no man with Me. I will tread them down in My anger, and trample them in My hot displeasure, and their permanent [discoloration] will be spattered on My

garments, and I have stained all My clothing,

In My anger: literally, with My nose. Think of someone fuming with rage at someone who has ruined what He established. Grapes are pressed by foot rather than with instruments that might crush the seeds, adding their

bitter flavour to the juice.

Page 17: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

“Son of Âthâ'm, lift up a dirge over the king of

Tzur

Treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of YHWH Tsvâ’ówth (of Hosts).

Dis 11:15-19; And the seventh envoy sounded a trumpet: and great voices were saying unto the skies:

The kingdoms of the world are become our LORD’s, and of his Christos, and he shall reign through the ages of the ages!”

[Beast claiming world victory, now that the 2 witnesses are gone,

believers have been raptured away to Tsiyyówn, name-denying post-6th seal

“Christian” converts died at Bâtsrâ´h Dis 14:17-20,

And another envoy exited out of the Temple building of YHWH , he also holding a sharp gathering hook. Yet another envoy exited from the altar, the one holding authority over the fire

Ychezqa'l 28: 11-19

Then the Word of YHWH came to me to say, “Son of Âthâ'm, lift up a dirge over the king of Tzur, and tell him, ‘This is what the Master YHWH says:

“You seal up the pattern—full of skill and complete in beauty!

King: as contrasted with the “ruler” or mere “prince” of v. 2, who was, on the human level, probably actually a king as well.

Page 18: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

You have been in Eden, the Garden of Aluahiym

But he was the “son” of the Raukh that was behind him. Compare the Princes of Persia and Greece that an archangel had to fight. (Dan. 10:13, 20) In other words, each earthly regime has Raukhual “princes” behind it. This one is a king, because he is the mastermind behind them all. This Raukh of the one who exalted himself passed also to Tzur’s conqueror, Bavel (Dan. 4:30), though its human king did ultimately repent. Seal up: i.e., you close the book on the subject; nothing more can be added to it. Pattern: in the sense of something that can be measured, and thus imitated or held up as a paradigm. (43:10) I.e., the

mould was broken because this specimen was so perfect:

You have been in Eden, the Garden of Aluahiym; every rare [and costly] stone was your covering—sardius, topaz, and jasper, chrysolite, onyx, and beryl, sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle, as well as gold. The

craftsmanship of your percussion instruments and your socket-cavities was [right] within yourself; on the day you were created they were securely fastened [and made ready].

In Eden: This tips us off to the fact that we are dealing with something much more ancient than literal Tzur alone—a Raukh that inhabited and motivated it, but which existed long beforehand. Socket-cavities: i.e., receptacles in which to mount the precious stones or musical instruments, but the same term is used as the root for the word “female” in Hebrew. This gives us a clue about the role the antitype of this king played, especially as relates to the Phoenicians, from which Izevel (Jezebel) came. Izevel insisted that her

husband Ahav, could do anything he pleased since he was the king, but she was the real mastermind behind his actions

Page 19: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

And the foundations of the wall of the city are

adorned with every precious stone:

The Raukh of Izevel, in which the woman dominates and usurps the role of the man, is resurging at full force in our day. Why? When we compare the other lists of these same jewels throughout Scripture, we

see them as bedecking YHWH’s Bride

Rev. 21:19-20

And the foundations of the wall of the city are adorned with every precious stone:

the first foundation – with Jasper [clear & multicolor]

the second – with Sapphire [clear]

the third – with Chalcedony [misty gray clouded with blue, yellow, or purple]

the fourth – with Emerald [transparent green]

the fifth – with Ruby and Onyx [red & white]

the sixth – with Ruby [transparent red]

the seventh – with Chrysolite [golden]

the eighth – with Beryl [pale green]

the ninth – with Topaz [transparent sky blue]

the tenth – with Chrysoprasus [green-yellow]

the eleventh – with Jacinth [dark blue]

the twelfth – with Amethyst. [violet]

Page 20: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Yet who, other than Âthâ'm and Chauwâ´h, was

in Eden?

So this is the clothing of YHWH’s bride. Yet who, other than Âthâ'm and Chauwâ´h, was in Eden? None other than the serpent. You were created: a phrase designed to put in his place the one who wanted to be

“like Aluahiym”.

Yeshayahu 14:12-14

"How you have fallen from the heavens, O bright star, son of the dawn! You are chopped down to the ground, O disabler of nations!

O bright star: or, "Howl!" (Another root word can take the same form.) Aram., "shining star among the stars". It was translated "Lucifer" in Latin, and indeed this calumny of the king of Babylon can (like the king

of Tsur/Tyre in Ychezqa'l 28) be carried further and seen as representing the arch-Adversary (ha'Sâţâ'n Satan). When we compare all the jewels that grace ha'Sâţâ'n there with those on the New Yerushalayim

that comes down from heaven (Rev. 21:19-20), it becomes clear that ha'Sâţâ'n was once in the position of YHWH's bride. The word for "shining star" in Hebrew is Heylel, which is related to Hallel (brighten up,

praise, and celebrate), so on a deeper level, when we say "HalleluYah", it can be broken down into "Hallel and Yah"--a wedding announcement. The infamous pride of Nevuchadnezzar (Dan. 4) is a microcosm of the pride--the downfall--of the former "anointed covering cheruv". So it is easy to see why the human

race--and especially those of us who are in Mashiyach, and thus part of YHWH's new bride--are so hated by haSâţâ´n. YâHuWsHúa, too, is called the "bright and morning star" (Rev. 22:16). O disabler of nations:

or "lying prostrate over nations".

Page 21: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

'I will supersede the heavens! Higher than the

stars of AL

13. "And now you have said in your heart, 'I will supersede the heavens! Higher than the stars of AL will I raise my throne, and I will sit on the Mount of the Appointment in the far reaches of the north!

The heavens: sometimes an idiom for YHWH Himself. Higher than the stars of AL: The meaning the builders of Bavel probably intended by their name was "Gate of AL". Their tower was intended to reach

the heavens, and they never lost that idea. Mount of Appointment: HaSatan co-opted worship of many of YHWH's people by replacing His holidays with different ones that glorify "her". North: or "hidden place".

HaSatan gains worship through the pagan holidays by hiding within them and controlling them from behind the scene.

14. "'I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be comparable to the Most High!'

This is the prospect haSâţâ´n in turn used to tempt Chauwâ'h (Eve). But the Hebrew word for Most High is Alyon. YHWH promised Y'Isra'al that if we would be obedient, He would make us “alyon" of the nations

(Deut. 28:1) --i.e., not just LIKE Alyon, but actually “alyon". As His promise to make a name for Avram followed right after Bavel's attempt to make a name for themselves, His gifts are always superior to what we try to take from Him for ourselves. Similarly, we often heard the church called "Raukhual Y'Isra'al", but

it only held many Y'isra'al'ite's captive through looking LIKE Y'Isra'al, or provided a temporary holding pattern until the time could come back around for Y'Isra'al to be itself--a nation in covenant with YHWH--

again.

Page 22: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

until unrighteousness was found in you.

Ychezqa'l 28: 14.

You [were] the anointed kh’ruv that overshadows, and I permitted you to come to the restricted mountain of Aluahiym; you walked about [freely] right among the stones of fire.

Overshadows: protects and screens by shutting off access to the throne, but the term also means to weave together or intertwine, just as the two kh’ruvim atop the Ark of the Covenant, symbolically

overshadowing the place where YHWH sat, were actually from one piece of gold. This again suggests the role of a bride and groom. YâHuWsHúa may have been represented by the other kh'ruvim, since the

allegorical level of Ruth 3:12; 4:6 indicates that they both have the right of atonement. Stones of fire: probably referring to the brazen altar and the altar of incense—i.e., a priestly role. It would appear, then,

that the unfallen ha'Sâţâ'n was also the first high priest before YHWH!

Ychezqa'l 28:15.

You were completely sound in your ways from the day you were created until unrighteousness was found in you.

Unrighteousness: choosing to be rich rather than continuing to be the pattern (v. 12) that revealed YHWH to the rest of the created order. Therefore another pattern needed to be made. The “broken mould” had to be recast so that this role could be filled again. Âthâ'm was created in YHWH’s image, and, under the

influence of this same “king”, also failed in that role.

Page 23: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

and you missed (sinned) the target

YHWH raised up Avraham and from him, Y'Isra'al, to restore what Âthâ'm broke, and through Y'Isra'al came the Temple, which chapter 43 calls a pattern—the only other time this same Hebrew term is used in Scripture. So what the Temple represents on earth is what ha'Sâţâ'n used to be. YâHuWsHúa identified His

body with the Temple (Yochanan 2:21), and this is the Scriptural authority by which He could do so. Of course, His body does not mean only His physical body, but those of whom He is the Raukhual Head. (Eph.

5:30)

Ychezqa'l 28:16.

Through the abundance of your trade they filled you with violence within, and you missed the target. So I will [expel] you from the mountain of Aluahiym [as] something violated, and make you vanish from among

the stones of fire, O kh'ruvim that overshadows!

Here He reverts briefly to speaking about the city itself. But indeed YHWH’s bejewelled bride is also described as a city in Rev. 21. ha'Sâţâ'n continued to have a “seat” in a series of cities such as Bavel,

Athens, Rome, etc. (Rev. 2:13) So Tzur is the civic embodiment of a bride deposed because she thought it was beneath her dignity to obey:

Ychezqa'l 28:17.

Your heart became arrogant because of your beauty; you spoiled your skill over glory! I had you flung to the ground; I have set you in front of kings, so that they can inspect you.

Page 24: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

ha'Sâţâ'n is YHWH’s adversary

“She” made an excellent wife until she started using her gifts for her own gain instead of for her Husband’s sake. Compare the story of Queen Washti (Esther 1:9-18). So we surmise that ha'Sâţâ'n is

YHWH’s adversary because “she” was in the position of YHWH’s first bride, but she coveted His position. She was meant to be under authority. When tempting human beings, the serpent approached

Chauwâ´hfirst, for when out from under her husband’s covering, she was more vulnerable. This disrupted the structure of human society from the start. After this YHWH clearly consigned her to being under her husband’s rule so that some semblance of order could be restored. (Gen. 3:16) Since YâHuWsHúa uses

“heaven” as a shortened form of “the Kingdom of heaven”, ha'Sâţâ'n ’s being cast down (Rev. 12:10) would correlate with his/her being bound for 1,000 years during the Kingdom. (Rev. 20:3)

Ychezqa'l 28:18.

Because of how very crooked you were, you made your sacred places common, so I brought a fire out from your midst. It will devour you, and I will turn you to ashes on the land in the sight of all who are

watching you.

Ychezqa'l 28:19.

All who are familiar with you among the peoples will be horrified over you; you will come to calamities, and you will never [again] exist forever.”’”

Compare Yeshayahu/Isa. 14:4-17, where the same judgment comes on Bavel, to which Tzur’s scepter was passed.

Page 25: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

The Great Day of YHWH represents the Wrath of YHWH:

The Great Day of YHWH represents the Wrath of YHWH:

Isa.13:19,13;

"And Bavel, the prominent one among kingdoms, the splendor of the majesty of the Khasdim, has become like Aluahiym's overthrow of S'dom and Amorrah:

Splendor of the majesty: Aram., "boast of the pride". Khasdim: Chaldeans (Mesopotamians).

Isa.13:13;

"Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth will move out of its [proper] place during the enraged outburst of YHWH of Armies and on the day of His fierce anger.

Shake: or unsettle, perturb, disturb; LXX: "enrage". Move out of its place: LXX, "be shaken from its foundation". On the literal level, it appears there will be a change in the orbit of the earth--perhaps back

to the 360-day years that existed prior to 701 B.C. (only a few years after this prophecy was given). Patten, Hatch, and Steinhauer trace it to a near pass by of Mars, whose orbit used to cross earth's until the close

encounter threw both into their current paths. On a deeper level, this verse is alluded to in Heb. 12:26-27, where it speaks of Raukhual principles that hold men in bondage. We are seeing the beginning of this now

as some of the doctrines held precious by Christianity are proving not to stand up to proper biblical interpretation.

Page 26: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

That day is a day of overflowing fury

The Great Day of YHWH represents the Wrath of YHWH:

Zeph.1:15;

“That day is a day of overflowing fury, a day of stress and dire straits, a day of devastation and ruin, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and heavy darkness,

Yo'al 2:11.

“And YHWH has employed His voice before His force, because His camp is very vast, for the one who carries out His word is mighty! Because the Day of YHWH is great and very terrifying; who can endure it?

Any army YHWH employs, even Bavel, can be called His, for He would have spared them if they had not

gloated over their victory and given themselves credit for it.

“And what will take place on That Day is that I will search for, in order to destroy, all the Gentiles that come against Yerushalayim.

I will: Yet when He said He would drive out the inhabitants of Kanaan, He made it possible but told the

Y'isra'al'ite's to do the physical driving out. It may be the same in this case.

Page 27: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

That day is great since there is none that

compares with it

Yirmeyahu.30:7-11;

“Alas, because that day is great since there is none that compares with it, and it is a time of [dire] straits for Ya'aqóv, yet he will be delivered from it.

Great: in intensity or importance. Dire straits: the feminine form of the word for narrow or tight spots or

stress/distress. Thus it can refer to the birth canal, from which the child being born is then “delivered”. Any woman who has given birth can testify that there is no pain that compares with it. So this is speaking

of Ya'aqóv being “born” back into the world again after presumably having become a thing of the past.

. “And what will take place on that day,” declares YHWH [Master] of Armies, “[is that] I will break his yoke from [being] on the back of your neck, and snap off your chastening-bands, and he will never again [be

forced to] serve a foreigner.

Chastening-bands: Aramaic, chains. In the context of the false prophecies about when Yehudah would be delivered from Bavel, YHWH appears to be saying it will not take place completely until the last days. This is because Yehudah carried many Babylonian customs back with them (such as the practice of not

voicing the name of their deity), and many remained there and became thoroughly intertwined with the system that Babylon began and which continues to present-day assimilation. But this phrase is very similar to what Yitzhak told Esau he would do to Ya'aqóv: “You will serve your brother, yet when you

brandish that sword, you will break his yoke from off your neck”. (Gen. 27:40)

Page 28: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

To know the father

Since Esau is, by tradition, the ancestor of the Romans, Esau’s yoke has indeed been on the House of

Y'Isra'al as well, having much the same effect as Bavel’s, with its emphasis on material wealth. Esau had the same father as Ya'aqóv; likewise the church uses the same Scriptures, yet majors on its minor points

and all but ignores what YHWH spends the most time on. One Jewish tradition says Esau was the one who killed Nimrod (hence inheriting his crown; Nimrod was the founder of Bavel.) Y’shua offered a better yoke—learning to know His Father as He did. (Mat. 11:28-30) This will rid us of foreign (Gentile) religious

agendas and their concepts of what YHWH is like.

9. “Rather, they will serve YHWH their Aluahiym and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

Raise up: This is usually taken as a reference to the Maschiyach, David’s descendant. Nonetheless, for that reason He is, in a sense, David himself, bearing his genes, and thus keeping him alive.

Y'hezq'El 34:23

says David would reign over both houses of Y'Isra'al as one shepherd for both.

(cf. 37:24; Hos. 1:11)

Page 29: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Ya‘aqov‘s trouble

10. “So as for you, do not be afraid, My servant Ya'aqóv,” says YHWH. “Do not go to pieces, O Y'Isra'al, because here I am, bringing you deliverance from afar off, and [rescue] your descendants from [the] land of their captivity. Then Ya'aqóv will return and be undisturbed and at ease, and there will be no one [who

will] make him tremble,

Do not…: These are instructions for that time of "Ya'aqov's trouble".

11. “because I am [the one who is] with you,” declares YHWH, “to deliver you. Even if I should finish off all the nations into which I have scattered you, still I will not bring a complete destruction to you, though I will discipline you to the extent that I [legally] determine you deserve, and will not entirely acquit you,

Page 30: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

"the end of his rope".

Dan.12:1-13;

"But at that time Mikha ‘al will come on the scene--the great prince who stands over the sons of your people--when there will be a time of distress such as has not been brought about since [the] nation

existed until that time. And at that time your people will be delivered--any who are found written in the document.

Mikha ‘al: By tradition, the arch-messenger, the field commander of the army of YHWH as seen in Yehoshua 5:13-15. But this was probably an inference drawn later, as no name is given there. Outside of

Dani‘al (and Jude) there are ten other Scriptural mentions of a Mikha ‘al, and they are all names of human beings. So what would lead us to think this one would not be human as well? Distress: or pressure,

squeezing, a tight spot, trouble, oppression. The Hebrew word is tzarah, the root from which the word Mitzrayim (Egypt) is derived. Interestingly, in 1 Shmu‘al 1:6, the same term is used for a rival wife--the

very same thing Hagar, an Egyptian slave, became to Sarah, and she married her son to an Egyptian woman Those who most distress Y'Isra'al today are therefore three-fourths Egypt and only 25%

Avrahamic. This is no mere coincidence. This event is what YâHuWsHúa was alluding to when he spoke of the "great tribulation". (Mat. 24:21) The context is the end of Dani'al chapter 11, in which Yehudah

appears to have been betrayed by all its allies, is left alone to fight his battles, and is at "his end". This is not necessarily a final end, but, as we say, "the end of his rope". But that is when Y'Isra'al always calls on

YHWH, and ends up really shining. And it is definitely the end of a chapter of his history, for a great surprise awaits both him and his enemies.

Page 31: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Any who are found:

Any who are found: This implies that there are many of "his people" who will not be found in that document (or book) as well. So to what book is it referring? Moshe suggested that YHWH blot his name

out of "the book You have written" if He would not forgive the rest of His people. (Ex. 32:32) YHWH replied that instead He would blot out those who had sinned (provided they did not repent). David says that the details of our lives are recorded in YHWH's book. (Tehillim 56:8) He calls it the "Book of Life" in Psalm 69:28, and equates it there with being "enrolled with the righteous". YâHuWsHúa speaks of his

students' names being "recorded in heaven". Paul spoke of his fellow-workers "whose names are recorded in the Book of Life" (Philippians 4:3). In Yochanan vision, YâHuWsHúa said that the one who overcomes

would not be blotted out of that book. (Rev. 3:5) Others would not be written there in the first place. (Rev. 13:8) And the final judgment will be based on whether one's name is written there. (Rev. 20:12-15) The

background for all of these is the Hebrew concept of three books, the Book of the Righteous, the Book of Sinners (those missing the target), and the Book of the Wholly Wicked. Everyone's name is written in one

of these three. But as we can see from the above, a name can be transferred from one to the other. Tradition says that the books are opened on Yom T'ruah (the Feast of Trumpets) and closed on Yom Kippur (the Day of Atonement, nine days later). How one lives during the forty days before Yom Kippur, when the door is opened for repentance as at no other time, will determine which book he will be inscribed in for

the coming year. A common greeting at this time is, "May you be written and inscribed for the best." Those who do not even know what Yom Kippur is are in deep trouble! In Mal'akhi 3:16ff, we catch a

glimpse of YHWH "eavesdropping" on conversations between "those who fear Him and who meditate on His Name", even if they come from differing persuasions, and a "book of remembrance" is written about

them. Afterward they are able to discern between the righteous and the wicked. (v. 18)

Page 32: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

He is "one of the foremost rulers

The middle category is no longer there. YâHuWsHúa says that what makes the difference is what we did

with the Torah. (Mat. 5:17-19) Delivered: literally, allowed to escape, but the term is also used for the delivery of a baby. This immediately links us to the common Jewish concept of the "birth pangs of the

Mashiyach" alluded to in Mat. 24:8. While the results may not necessarily be worse than the Holocaust, the prospects for the survival of the nation look even more bleak. We saw a foreshadowing of this in

Yeshayahu 37:3 where King Hizqiyahu says, The children are brought to the birth, but there is no strength to deliver." The analogy is to the stage in a woman's labour where she has been having severe

contractions already. She gets to this stage called "transition". It is the shortest time, but the most serious. The next stage is delivery, but at this point she feels like it is impossible to go on. Yirmeyahu' calls this the "time of Yaa'qov's trouble" (30:7), saying, as here, that it has no parallel in history, and that Ya'aqóv will

be delivered out of these straits. Z'kharyah's (chapters 12-14) also speaks of a time where the continuance of Yerushalayim (the context of 11:45 above) is in doubt. And as one Scripture answers the questions raised by another, we have a very strong clue there about who this Mikha ‘al is. We are simply told in 10:13 that he is "one of the foremost rulers". Some identify him with the Mashiyach. But we have seen much in this book about the possibility of a "corporate Mashiyach". Paul speaks of Mashiyach being the head and his followers the body. (Col. 1:18: 2:10, 19) This, not just the head, is Mikha ‘al, for Scripture interprets Scripture for us. Z'kharyah's says, when the nations assemble around Yerushalayim and YHWH allows the leaders of Yehudah to devour them, "YHWH will liberate the tents of Yehudah first, so that the

splendour of the House of David and the splendour of an inhabitant of Yerushalayim may not be magnified above Yehudah. In That Day, YHWH will surround the inhabitants of Yerushalayim with a

protective covering, so that the feeblest among them on That Day will become like David, and the House of David will be like Aluahiym--like the messenger of YHWH in their presence." (12:7-8)

Page 33: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

YâHuWsHúa and his brother Ya'aqóv

In the same context, there is a mourning for and acceptance of one described as a pierced firstborn son. Who are the last known leaders from the House of David? YâHuWsHúa and his brother Ya'aqóv (James),

who led his followers after his departure. This is probably why Yehudah and the House of David are spoken of here as two separate entities. Yehudah today does not represent the House of David. When a

kinsman redeems another kinsman according to the Torah, the latter becomes a member of the household of the former. So those who recognized these two leaders (the Northern Kingdom of Y'Isra'al)

are the ones who have carried on the House of David. (There is a historical precedent that seems prophetic, in that during Avshalom's revolt, David himself was king over all of Y'Isra'al except the tribe of

Yehudah, until Avshalom's was dead.) But even some of them, in the process of making amends with Yehudah, have forsaken YâHuWsHúa, yet keep quoting the New Testament, because YâHuWsHúa did a

tremendous work that still affects them; he was the first reason most of them knew anything about Y'Isra'al. Yet there remains that tendency, about which both Paul (Romans 11) and Yeshayahu (11:13)

wrote, for Efrayim to exalt itself over Yehudah--in large part a vestige of our former Christian days. This is why YHWH allows Yehudah to precede us. The clincher is that phrase, "the House of David will be like

Aluahiym". The last word in Hebrew is ka'Aluahiym. The name Mikha ‘al means "Who is like Aluahiym?" Mi ka'Aluahiym? ? The answer is right here in Z'kharyah's 12. It is the House of David, which includes any

who consider the Davidic ruler to be their own king, and as we have seen, that is largely the House of Yoseyf or Efrayim. Already many are standing up for Y'Isra'al, thus marking themselves as not really being Christians, but Efrayimites held captive by the Church. American and British Christians' very deep support

for Y'Isra'al. He believes there is more unity amongst Evangelicals for Y'Isra'al than there is among Jews. He describes the Christian connection to Judaism as one that is totally genetic, ‘part of its DNA,' and that

because of this, Bible-believing Christians assert the right of the Jews to their homeland."

Page 34: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

YâHuWsHúa, who inherited the line of kings

Is that not a Yoseyfite speaking, though he may not know it? This is how a nation can be born in a day. (Yeshayahu 66:8) The House of Yoseyf is ready in some ways; they need only this one piece--a common

enemy with Yehudah--to come fully (back) to life. Will there be a particular person who is the quintessence of this "Mikha ‘al"? Z'kharyah's linked the House of David with "the messenger of YHWH in their presence". This is not necessarily an "angel", because YâHuWsHúa, who inherited the line of kings

who had been called "sons of Aluahiym", constantly referred to himself as YHWH's emissary. Knowing the laws of agency, in which one who speaks for another is to be treated as the one who sent him, how much

closer could any human being get to being "like Aluahiym" yet without literally being Aluahiym? It will take a strong, wise ruler to clarify this point for such Christians and bring these who are right on the edge of recognizing what continues to elude them--that they are truly Efrayim--and bring them all the way over into the camp of their true heritage. So undoubtedly there will be one head (the son brought forth before Yerushalayim goes into labor to bear many sons, per Yeshayahu 66:7), but he will not stand alone, but will

be leading a whole people. It will have to be a people with access to many armaments. Most civilians in the world have no such recourse, but in the United States, many still do, and the National Guard is under each state. What if a governor decided to buck the President's reneging on commitments to Y'Isra'al and

send the "army" that is at his disposal to aid Y'Isra'al though the federal army does not? By the time returning Efrayim is again called "sons of the living Aluahiym" (Hos. 1:10), they are "in the place where it

was said, ‘You are not my people'." I.e., they are back in the Land of Y'Isra'al, probably having come out of mere support for Yehudah, most not even knowing who they really were. The very next verse describes

the two houses of Y'Isra'al together choosing one head, undoubtedly this same "Mikha ‘al" from the House of David.

Page 35: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

many of those who are sleeping in the dusty

ground will awaken

(Compare Ychezqa'l 34:23.) Z'kharyah's 13 describes the "man who is My associate" (who could that be but the messenger who is "like Aluahiym"?) being struck down and the people refined by further distress

after being purged of idolatry (including the idolizing of their leader), and YHWH finally fighting for His people. Yeshayahu 49:22 speaks of nations bringing our sons and daughters who are still left outside the

Land back home on their shoulders after Tzion is amazed to find herself full of children she vaguely remembered but had not realized belonged to her. Why are the sons and daughters brought separately?

Because the men have come as soldiers in advance of them to liberate the city from a siege by all nations, then their families are reunited with them after the battle is won. So many prophecies are all shrinking

into one event as Dani'al's sealed scroll is beginning to be opened up.

2.

"And many of those who are sleeping in the dusty ground will awaken, some to life [in] the age and some to disgrace--to [be] abhorred [in] the age.

Dusty ground: often rendered "dust of the earth", and thus almost unanimously taken to mean the dead. Awaken: This clearly refers to a resurrection, at least an allegorical one, and directly parallels the vision of

dry bones in Ychezqa'l 37. That specifically speaks of the northern kingdom not only returning when all hope was gone, but coming as an army, just as in verse 1. But for some it will be like waking from a

nightmare and finding that real life is even worse. The "dusty ground" is literally "soil of dust" in Hebrew, the word order being reversed from that "dust from the ground" from which Âthâ'm was said to have

been taken. (Gen. 2:7)

Page 36: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

who turn many to righteousness

It suggests an allusion in particular to the Land belonging to the descendants of Avraham and more specifically Ya'aqóv (Gen. 13:16; 28:14). It may thus be a dual reference, partly to a resurrection of the dead (which is how it has been interpreted by both Jews and Christians) and to an awakening of some other sort by those dwelling in the Land of Y'Isra'al in particular. What if it is both, and Avraham and his trained men, Gid'on and his 300, and David and his mighty men all join the already-unexpected attack, taking those who are distressing Yehudah by complete surprise? Some…some: literally, these…these. In the age: that is, the age to come, or the Messianic

Kingdom; alt., eternal, but if we take it as the former, we can see exactly where YâHuWsHúa based his teaching about those who taught others to disregard any part of the Torah being called least in the Kingdom. (Mat. 5:17-

19) The word for "called" means not so much "referred to" as "summoned"--i.e., for this judgment.

3. "And those who are circumspect will shine like the shining of the expanse, and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.

This corresponds with the five wise virgins. (Mat. 25) Those described in verse 2 were also invited to the wedding feast, but while some embrace the new discovery that they are Y'Isra'al, there will be others who will

want nothing to do with being a part of Y'Isra'al. Shine: or glisten, reminiscent of that "extra oil" the wise virgins brought with them to outlast the groom's delay; the word has a secondary sense of sending out a warning--like a lighthouse. Shining: the Hebrew term tzohar, which has taken on many mystical interpretations because it is what

is said to have served to light the interior of Noach's ark. (Gen. 6:16) It is thought by some to have been a technology beyond what we have now, as the word is not used as a noun anywhere else in Scripture. But it may

have been some kind of prism to reflect the light from a skylight into the rest of the ark.

Page 37: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Seal up the document

In this way it would be analogous to these people who break the brilliant "light" of truth down into manageable increments so that anyone can learn it. Many are expecting an age of light to come--a millennial Kingdom when things will be better. But it will take people who know Torah to work out the details so that this can actually take

place. It is the difference between waiting for an age of light and building that light. Expanse: either an allusion to the "firmament" of Genesis 1, or to something "beaten out" so compactly that it glimmers. Like the stars: not only far brighter than the generic light on the horizon, but recognizing again that they are Avraham's seed. These who

stood on behalf of Y'Isra'al have already proved that they loved their fellows as themselves, so they are in the Book of the Righteous. This war is being won in advance in the daily details of how we act toward one another

even now.

4. "But you, O Dani’al, close up the[se] matters, and seal up the document until the time of the cutting-off. Many will run back and forth, and knowledge will multiply."

Close up: a term often used for stopping up wells or blocking the flow of water. Here it is the flow of information being stopped, whether by leaving out some of what he was going to write or using some form of encoding.

Scrolls were commonly sealed (a common practice both in Y'Isra'al and Rome was to place seven seals at intervals throughout the document) to prevent unauthorized persons from reading the contents. The "matters" (or words)

are here, held in reserve, until the time when they will matter. But they were not to be understood by anyone before that time, try as they might. When they are unlocked, they will be clear instructions that make perfect sense to those who need them at the moment. Run back and forth: or travel. Until ocean liners and airplanes were invented, common people could rarely travel more than a few towns away, and even when they became available, it was mainly the wealthy or scholars who could access them, but now nearly everyone has flown at

one time or another

Page 38: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

"To whom much is given, of him much is

required.

With the Internet giving us instant access to any part of the world, it is as if we were traveling across borders, not to mention the fact that it only takes a day at most to fly to Y'isra'al from any part of the

world now, so shuttling there is possible even before we are able to settle there. Knowledge will multiply: not just increase. What kind of knowledge? In context, Torah knowledge in particular. 200 years ago, there were no archaeologists as such, only treasure hunters. A yeshiva was a rarity, and usually majored on the Talmud rather than Torah as such. But now Bibles can easily be obtained, often free of charge, and most

families have multiple copies, even if they are not always the best translation. With information that only a few short years ago required travel to distant cities, some of which were barred to us, or digging

through dusty libraries, it only takes days for knowledge increase exponentially--if we seek it out. In contrast to the time when even translations of the Bible were kept from the masses, now even the

original languages are opened wide even to those who do not speak them. The tools available now, such as exhaustive concordances, especially when paired with computers, enable in-depth study with a speed never before known. The obvious response is, "To whom much is given, of him much is required." (Luke 12:48) "Run back and forth" may also be an idiom for "diligently search", and there may be a cause-and-effect relationship here: i.e., seal it up so that it has to be searched out. It cannot be understood without

knowing the rest of Scripture. Thus YHWH has made us curious about prophecy in order to motivate those who would not otherwise read the more important parts of His word.

Page 39: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

You could be like Aluahiym…

5. Then I, Dani'al, looked, and, lo and behold, there were two others standing [there], one here on [this] bank of the river, and one on [the other] bank of the river.

Now we appear to be back to his original setting, the Hiddeqel (Tigris) River (introduced in 10:4), which, we must remember, is one of the four heads of the river that flowed out of Eden. The speaker who began in 10:19 has now stopped talking, and two other people come into focus. Interestingly, the numeric value of the name Mikha ‘al is 101, and the first time a word with this numeric value is found in Scripture, it is "went out", speaking of that river that "went out" from Eden. (Gen. 2:10) In that context, "Who is like

Aluahiym?" seems to be an answer to the serpent's temptation, "You could be like Aluahiym…" (Gen. 3:5) I.e., the emphasis is on the fact that although the great emperors spoken of and addressed by Dani'al all

tried to be like Aluahiym, how did their kingdoms end? So who is like Aluahiym? No human! Only one kingdom will remain, at YHWH's pleasure.

6. And [one of them] said to the man clothed in [white] linen who was over the waters of the river, "How long until these hard-to-understand things will end?"

The Hebrew allows him to be saying, "Will wonders never cease?" But the tone seems negative instead. This observer seems to have been growing weary of being given knowledge which he could not put to

use. It was also very frightening material. But the fact that there are persons on two sides and one in the middle dressed in white linen evokes the memory of the two parts of Y'Isra'al reciting the blessing and curses on the mountains on both sides of Sh'khem with the priests in the middle. (Deut. 27; Y'hoshua

8:33) This suggests the two houses of Y'Isra'al, as Dani'al has addressed them both. Gentiles want to know the details about tomorrow, and the Northern Kingdom patterned itself after Gentiles. (Hos. 7:8; 8:8)

Page 40: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

The feast days

Then I heard the man clothed in [white] linen, who was over the waters of the river, when he raised his right hand and his left hand toward the heavens and swore by the One who lives forever that [it would

last] for an appointed time, a pair of appointed times, and half. And when they finish shattering the hand of the set-apart people, then these things will all be completed.“

Unless there was a bridge or a helicopter here, which men would stand "over", "above", or "upon" a river but priests (as when they carried the ark, who stopped in the middle and "made" it cease flowing? It may be one more evidence that this is still Yirmeyahu speaking to him. Completed: It almost seems that that is

the end of the story! Notice that he swears not with one hand raised, but both (in contrast with Deut. 32:40, for example): seemingly a way of making the oath absolute; i.e., no matter how you slice it,

whether in kindness or in anger, it will be this way. Or, the two hands could mean the events spoken of would befall those on both sides of the river. This then suggests that the "shattering" or "scattering" (in some sense dividing) of the two houses of Y'Isra'al is what must come to an end before the prophecy is

fulfilled. Dani'al speaks from the viewpoint of Yehudah, and it seems that his tribe's exile is over, but the other tribes are still in exile. Appointed time: the specific term for the festivals YHWH gave Y'isra'al. The

time reference may be either to three and a half years (complete cycles of appointed times) or three and a half months (or one feast, one pair of feasts, and half a feast; the Feast of Unleavened Bread and

Sukkoth both have seven days, and so there would be a day that is the definite midpoint of each). Which it is may depend on how much discipline His people need at the time. It is probably based on YHWH's appointed times, or festivals, so the count would begin from and probably end with one of them. Half:

two festivals are exactly half a year apart: Passover and Sukkoth. He swears by the One who lives forever, because this is for a time thousands of years after his own, and no mortal living then could ever guarantee

that something that far away would take place, though we can all work toward it.

Page 41: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

The foremost scholar of his day,

8. And I heard, but did not understand, so I said, "My master, what [will be] the latter [end] of these [matters]?"

He was understandably puzzled. The man had said it would be completed, but did not really tell what the outcome would be. Would the righteous win--or just be snuffed out? Who is not confused when not

enough information is given? Yet Dani’al, the one who, at the pleasure of the crown, is the foremost scholar of his day, and has been the wisest in the empires in which he lived since he was a child, still says, "I don't get it! What does it all boil down to? What do you want me to do about it?" And he had actually

seen it with his eyes; how much less are we, who only hear it, likely to understand it--unless the unsealing comes in our own day? Then the meaning will be so plain that everyone will be amazed that they spent so much ink speculating about it. In light of verse 7, he may also be asking, "At which festival will this end?"

9. And he said, "Go [away], Dani'al! Because the words are closed up and sealed until the time of the cutting-off.

Dani'al was getting too curious, too close to matters that could either burn him or were simply none of his business, so he was chased away. When we are given one revelation, it is easy to think we deserve more, but YHWH has allotted so much to each. Paul had to be given a "thorn in the flesh" to keep him

humble; maybe YHWH did not want to do that to Dani'al, who was "greatly beloved". If the messenger did not give Dani’al all the information, he could be sure Dani'al would not reveal it to anyone else. The

"hidden things" belong to YHWH." (Deut. 29:29) But part of the reason he could not answer this question is that the outcome depends on us. Time of the cutting off: We may be able to read this as "the end of

time"--not the end of all things, but when time itself ceases, for time was a concept unknown to Âthâ'm and Chauwâ'h before they were banished from Eden.

Page 42: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

Walking in YHWH's appointed times

(If one is immortal, what does time matter?) Time is the flaming sword that prevents our return to Eden, yet it is two-edged: the path back there is also time. It is overcome by walking in YHWH's appointed times (v. 7). Until all

Y'Isra‘al walks in them, all is hidden, but then the door can open for the shattered "hand" to be repaired, and that will only be the beginning of an existence known as "eternal life". When asked how to obtain it, YâHuWsHúa did

not give a standard Christian answer, but said we arrive there by keeping YHWH's commandments, properly understood. (Mark 10) Focus on things of the Kingdom, and we can get past time.

10. "Many will be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly, and none of the wicked will discern, but the circumspect will discern.

Purified: the meaning ranges from brightened to purged out to clarified or polished. Clarity comes from YHWH, but not magically; in practicality, we receive it by studying and being taught by those who are wise. Made white: a

consistent idiom throughout Scripture for purification as expressed by our clothing, a picture of our outward works. I.e., the actions of many will become increasingly consistent with the Torah. Refined: includes the sense of

being heated very hot. This seems out of order, because why should we need more heating if we are already purified? Because this is a test of how well we have been tempered. It means that those who are purified will still

have trouble in their lives! What is laundered still needs heat to dry or to be pressed. Many stop with just the cleansing--they recognize when Scripture says the Sabbath is, but still go to church on Sunday because that is when it meets, or still go to work. That is not a laundering, but only a spit-shine. YHWH wants us to go on to

perfection--to be made not just white but complete. That sounds unattainable, but in the Hebraic sense it means "maturity". It takes time to grow into awareness of what it is all about. Those who are aware in one area can grow

more quickly in others because they are all connected. But until we recognize our clothes are filthy, we will not even start to clean them. This third step of refining also includes the meaning of welding--fusing metal together

(different from soldering of two different metals).

Page 43: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

when all of Y'Isra'al is made one

This is the fullest maturity: when all of Y'Isra'al is made one. The wicked will [go on] act[ing] wickedly: Both groups may hear the same things and receive all the same data, but the message must meet with

something in the hearer that corresponds and resonates, or it will just be meaningless noise which goes right past him, while others will blend with it in unimaginable harmony that makes the world much more beautiful. We see this in the fact that a great variety of religions has resulted from a reading of the same Scriptures. A "strong delusion" comes over some because they refuse what truth they have been given--

and it specifies that they do not love the truth, but find pleasure in unrighteousness. (2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) That makes the difference between sinners who are salvageable though they miss the target and the wicked, who are not even interested in finding the target. We must remember that the wicked in the world at large are not even worthy of mention in this context, which is that of returning Y'Isra'al. This is not speaking of Hitler, but those who are supposed to be part of the covenant. "Those who are wrong"

might be a better translation in this case, because we need not be "evil" to be missing the path altogether. If they are doing what is right in their own eyes and not looking in the mirror of Torah, they cannot

recognize when they are wrong. Mal'akhi 3:17ff tells us that the difference between the righteous and the wicked is that one serves Aluahiym and the other does not. They cannot meld with the rest of Y'Isra'al

because they have too much self still in them. We need to see Him rightly--neither as a "sugar daddy" or one distant and unconcerned with what we do, for we have a contract with Him, and when He forecloses,

there is no bankruptcy court! Some think they are promised the world to come just because they are Jews. (See MattiYahu 3:9.) We are to keep the covenant as a people, but it is hard to make the case that you are part of Y'Isra'al if you are not living it as an individual. Here we see Yâhuwshúa''s parable of the

ten virgins (MattiYahu 25).

Page 44: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

The tempest of YHWH has gone forth

Five ran out of oil, and the others were unable to share their oil with them because they could not give them a crash course in being circumspect if they had been unwilling to go through the three preceding

steps when they had time. They stopped after the first stage, and now there was no time left to complete the rest of the course. This is Yom Kippur imagery: "If it is determined for anyone ... to this he will go." This will be very important for the next verses. The final prayer of Yom Kippur is the neilah ("closing"), referring

to the closing of the gates of the Temple (representing the gates of heaven) at sunset, according to one Talmudic opinion. (Artscroll Machzor for Yom Kippur) Joseph Good points out that as one moves into the

neilah, the Shofar HaGadol (great trumpet) is blown (cf. Matt. 24:29) and YHWH will make a covenant with those who are inside the gates when it is blown. "The tempest of YHWH has gone forth...It will whirl on the head of the wicked. The anger of YHWH shall not turn back until He has executed [and] set up the purposes of His heart. In the akherit Yamim (latter days) you will understand it perfectly." (Jer. 23:19-20)

Discern: We have to understand where we have gone wrong so we can turn back from it (as Dani'al did in chapter 9; compare Psalm 51). The term for "discern" means "to distinguish one thing from another"-- to discriminate, to make a mental separation between right and wrong, or between YHWH's will and one's own. The world is trying to train us to stop discriminating, to believe that no one or nothing is better or

worse than any other, but we have to understand why we are in the situation we are in, and where disobedience can lead. (Yirmeyahu 9:12ff) Those who are circumspect--who are alert to what is going on around them on every side--are the ones who need to be our teachers, for they have already learned to

be discerning.

The statue of Zeus Kurios and the Shroud of

Turin

11. "And from the time the regular [offering] is taken away and the appalling abomination is set up, [there will be] 1,290 days;

Regular offering: Heb., tamid, one that is offered every day, not just for special occasions such as festivals. A parallel passage tells us that this cessation of altar offerings is in the middle of the 70th "week" of seven years (9:27). There was another similar occurrence prophesied in 8:14, but the number of days is

different, suggesting that this is occurring a second time. This time it does not specify that it is in the Temple. "Taken away" does not indicate a final end either; it has the nuances of being turned off

(temporarily) or even removed to a place other than its proper location. This seems negative, and we can certainly see that in a figurative sense, the Jews moved the offerings from the literal altar to the prayer book, while the Christians said that Yâhuwshúa''s one offering replaced every one of them. But when

Antiokhus IV set up a statue of Zeus Kurios with his own face (which experts have said has 39 points of congruency with the image on the Shroud of Turin) on it in the Temple precincts, it was too much for the holy people to stand being near it. Gentiles had defiled the Temple and ruined Yerushalayim. (Compare

Psalm 79, in which David also asks, "How long?" and asks for YHWH's help.) If those in Yehudah flee to the mountains and are sheltered in the wilderness, they will probably move the offerings to that site. A

Temple Institute respondent reminded us that the new altar that is being built off site could even be used there. Scholars know this well, and if the issue were brought to a head, they would have to endorse it since it is Torah. The Tabernacle is primary in the Torah, and the Temple was really an afterthought. So wherever the Tent of Appointment is, there can be an altar on which the tamid can be offered with full

validity. II Maccabees 2:5 tells us that the prophet Yirmeyahu hid the Tabernacle, ark, and altar of incense in a cave at Mt. Nevo, where Moshe had seen the Promised Land

Page 46: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

YHWH says „wait for me“

Mt. Nevo is in a very dry place, conducive to preserving things for very long periods, as we saw with the Dead Sea Scrolls. So it is quite possible that the original or parts of it are still intact and could be used again at such a time of need. As soon as there is an altar, the tamid offerings can resume. So it could

simply be relocated for this time period if the Temple service is forced to stop functioning in the ideal location--or even before the Temple is rebuilt.

12. "blessed is the one who waits and reaches 1,335 days.

Reaches: or attains to. It has the sense of endurance being required, and correlates very well with MattiYahu 24, which says, "He who endures to the end will be rescued." YHWH says, Wait for Me" at the

time when things look the worst, because He has a reason for the nations to gang up on us: so He can destroy them in one fell swoop. (Ts'fanyuah 3:8) In other words, "Trust me." It is like when we say, "Wait right here; I'll be back" without saying how long. Wait as long as He takes--"though He may tarry", keep

on having confidence in Him. Something extraordinarily wonderful will be accomplished within those additional days that will make it thoroughly worth the patience and sacrifices it will take to endure until

that time. When this time ends, the Kingdom may have fully arrived. Tying together prophecies both here and in Z'kharyah's 14 with clues in numerous other prophets about events that take place on the

appointed times, and based on Jewish traditions correlated with Renewed Covenant writings, Temple teacher Joseph Good suggests that the seventieth "week" of years begins on Yom haKippurim (at the

beginning of the civil year, in the seventh month of the Y'isra'al'ite year). At its midpoint, Dani'al said a counterfeit Mashiyach would put a stop to the offerings. (9:27) Mr. Good suggests that on Nisan 10, the

date the Passover lamb is to be selected and the same date YâHuWsHúa rode into Yerushalayim on a donkey and finally accepted acknowledgement as king, this counterfeit Mashiyach might stage a

counterfeit "triumphal entry", and the Appalling Abomination (v. 11 above) be set up

Page 47: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

the sound of the Shofar HaGadol

. Offerings to YHWH cannot be made in its presence. Those in Yehudah, who have been watching and preparing, flee for the wilderness and are sheltered there by YHWH through the hand of the inhabitants of Jordan.

(Yeshayahu 16) This Passover celebrates yet another safe crossing over, and they remain there for three more Passovers and up until the 10th of the seventh month, which is again Yom haKippurim (halfway through the next year--possibly correlating with the [appointed] time, pair of times, and half a time in verse 7), when Mashiyach leads us all back to liberate Yerushalayim, where all nations are gathered, allowing them to all be conveniently

judged in one fell swoop. There are two days in Scripture called yom haDin (the day of judgment), and Yom Kippur is one of these. But we are also told that this takes place when they minister between the altar and the porch

(Yo'al 2). The only day this is done is on Yom Kippur, in the Avodah ceremony. Secondly, we are told that the high priest will "stand and minister in the name of YHWH". (Deut. 18:5) There is only one day of the year that the high priest has traditionally mentioned YHWH's Name: Yom Kippur. YâHuWsHúa tells us that messengers are sent out

with the sound of the Shofar HaGadol (Great Trumpet), which is the specific name of the one blown at the beginning of the last service of Yom Kippur (Neilah). This is all phraseology that is only used for the Day of

Atonements. Counting from Nisan 10, this makes 1,260 days by the ancient system of counting 30-day months. 75 days later (the 1,335th day) is Kislev 25 (the first night of Hanukkah in the ninth month), when the Temple, or at

least the altar, was rededicated once before. 1,260 days is mentioned in Revelation 12, but not here. Why are there an additional 30 days? It relates to the sanctuary still being defiled, possibly even after Mashiyach retakes

the city. Sukkoth would fall within that time, and there would not be enough time to cleanse the Temple between Yom Kippur and Sukkoth, which begins the 15th of the seventh month, so it might take until a month after Yom Kippur to accomplish that and begin rebuilding the altar thereafter. (Or there could be an intercalary month in

one of these three years, making it add up to 1,290 already, but only if the original 360-day year with its months of exactly 30 days each is not restored by then.) There appear to be 45 days' difference between these two

numbers given here and in the preceding verse.

Page 48: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

This is one way of counting it

(Or there could be an intercalary month in one of these three years, making it add up to 1,290 already, but only if the original 360-day year with its months of exactly 30 days each is not restored by then.) There appear to be 45 days' difference between these two numbers given here and in the preceding

verse. The only 45-day interval that is part of YHWH's festival calendar is from the first of the sixth month, Elul, when the 40 days of repentance leading up to Yom haKippurim begin, then there are five more days

until the beginning of Sukkoth, which is the most joyful feast of the year, in the context of the blessing spoken of here. The first word in Scripture with the numeric value of 45 is "Âthâ'm"--the name used when

we were only one person, even before Chauwâ'h was separated out from him. What YHWH wants most from Y'Isra'al is to have the intimacy He had in Eden with Âthâ'm. If while gathered at Sukkoth, already

living in tents, we should decline YHWH's offer of tribal lands and choose to remain a unified camp with His sanctuary in our midst, saying, "This is enough; we don't want to spread out, so we can stay right here with You", that just might be enough to remove the veil of time and open the doors back to eternity in the Garden of Eden right away. This is one way of counting it. But we must admit that nothing is said about 45 days in the text. The appointed times are the route out of the cycles of "vanity" that were imposed on us

as time when we were barred from Eden To overcome time we may need to "think outside the box". What if we were to add the 1,290 and 1,335 days together rather than overlapping them? We come up

with 2,625 days, which, by the ancient 360-day measure, is 7 years plus three and a half months. We noted earlier in the book that there is a stronger case for the "time, pair of times, and half" referring to

months than years, since the same term can be used of a menstrual period. This, then, could encompass the entire "70th week" as well as the "time, pair of times, and half" of verse 7. There is a completely

different way of looking at these things which is not mutually exclusive, but an additional "layer". Rashi also points out that the phrase "And I will hide my face" in the Hebrew of Deut. 31:18 totals a gemetria

(numerical value) of 1,335.

Page 49: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

"time, pair of times, and half"

Blessed indeed is the one who sees the end of that time! The numeric value of "time, pair of times, and half" is 434, and the first word in Scripture with this value is "bore [a son]", a phrase also used of Yitzhaq's birth, which Gen. 17:21 indeed links with an appointed time, which by tradition was Passover. Three and a

half months before Passover is again the first day of Hanukkah (the 25th of the 9th month). This may or may not have a bearing here. We will not know for certain which of these viewpoints, if any, is correct

until the time is upon us. But YHWH does not hide anything that He does not want us to search out; it is to the honour of kings to search out what He hides (Prov. 25:2), and this would include any who belong to the House of David. (See note on verse 1.) When we see "seven years", we should search out every place in Scripture that this imagery occurs, and something may click. These include the cycle of the Sabbatical

year of release of debts, when the Land lies fallow (we would begin replanting around Passover), the seven years that Ya'aqóv worked for each of his wives, the age of Yoash when he began to reign, and the seven years of plenty and the seven years of famine under Yoseyf. (Will the whole world be plunged into

seven years of famine, the doubling of the drought in Aliyahu's time, because this abomination is set up?) David ruled for seven years from Hevron before taking Yerushalayim. (This certainly seems to line up with

the sanctuary being moved to a different place, as seen in the note on verse 11, then the Davidic king again being enthroned at Yerushalayim.) We may be wrong many times as we try to decipher the data,

but that is usually what it takes to get something right. (Ask Thomas Edison.) We should not be obsessed with these things; the main point is to bring forth teaching that feeds Y'Isra'al, not just our curiosity. Pay attention to what is going on around us, and the understanding will come as we need it. Confirmations

will be there. The way the number 1,290 in verse 11 is broken down in Hebrew is 1,000, 200, 90. The word for 1,000 is Alef, a variation of the name of the first letter, Alef. The letter with the numeric value of 200 is resh, and tzade has the value of 90. These three letters together spell "eretz", the name used even today

for the Land of Y’Isra’al in particular. 1,335 is broken down into 1,000, 300, 30, and 5.

Page 50: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

"I will be tranquil"

This translates to Alef-shin-lamed-hey by the same method explained above. This spells a word meaning, "I will be tranquil", possibly a reference to the peace that comes with the Kingdom. The name Shiloh is based on this root, reminding us of Gen. 49:10--"until Shiloh comes". But it can also mean, "I will draw out" or "I will fish out". When we remember that Efrayim and Menashe's are to multiply like fish (Gen.

48:16) and that YHWH would send men to fish for us among the nations (Yirmeyahu 16:16; compare Mat. 4:18-19), there is a clear reference here to the northern Kingdom joining Yehudah, who is already in the

Land. Hoshea 1:10-11 puts Efrayim back in the Land before the King is recognized by both houses together. The numbers 1,2,9, and 0 add up to 12; so do 1,3,3, and 5, another hint that they have to do

with all 12 tribes being restored. Mikha ‘al, in the "at bash" code often used to encrypt ancient Hebrew messages, is yud-mem-lamed-tav-kaf--"he will fill you up", correlating perfectly with Efrayim becoming the "fullness of the nations". (Gen. 48:19) We will stand up (v. 1) when Yehudah needs us so badly that they cannot put us off any longer. Having possession of the Land has given them a degree of arrogance, thinking there was no way enemies would dare attack after the initial few exploits. But then they quit fighting. The one thing this passage tells us for certain is that when we see Efrayim get Yehudah out of

very deep, deadly trouble, that is the time to put our people in the Land.

13. "But you, go on to [your own] cutting off; then you will rest, then stand up for your allotment at the end of the days.“

Dani'al had written much about the "end"; now it is time to experience his own end. Like Moshe on Mount evo, his part was done. The messenger had no more to say about this during Danial's lifetime. But though he would not live to see the day he wrote about, he would nonetheless see it indeed. The end is not really the end. While verse 2 may refer only to a figurative resurrection, there is no way to interpret

this verse as anything but a literal resurrection.

Page 51: BEWARE the DAY of YHWH

conclusion

The resurrection is one of the 13 core beliefs of Hebraic faith, according to Maimonides. It was a very hot topic in the days of YâHuWsHúa and Paul; some of the Tzadoqim (the Boethusians) did not believe in a

resurrection, and both of these teachers used that fact to their advantage. Dani'al, who was so busy teaching well into his old age would soon have his much-needed rest. But not to worry; he would be back to receive his reward, which may include finally understanding it! He had put a lot of time and effort into

this work, so someone would be sent to wake him up when the time came so he would not miss it. His allotment (literally, his lot--another tie-in with Yom haKippurim) was very real, but was not to be obtained

during the days when "moth and rust corrupt or thieves break through and steal". (Mat. 6:19; contrast verse 9.) To receive it when the Kingdom has fully come would be even better than surviving to go back to

the Land in the days of Ezra and Nehemyah's diminished Temple. Dani'al got to skip right to that time, because the first phrase literally only says, "But you, go/walk/move on to the end." Many who have

invested even their last ounce of strength into making it possible for the Kingdom to come have passed away before that day arrived. But YHWH is not so unjust as to leave them without the reward of seeing their efforts realized. In the same context, Paul told his audience, "so comfort one another with these

words." (1 Thess. 4:13-18) However, he then goes on to remind us that we don't know exactly when it will be, so we need to be sober and alert at all times to be ready. But this is just what Dani'al is told, in effect:

"Don't put any more effort into trying to decipher the details; just write it down and save it up for the time when it will be needed. "This could have saved many people countless wasted hours of frustration had they read it more carefully. What he does, as on previous occasions, is to let this lie and go back to

doing his job for what time he had left. What it tells us is, "Focus on walking in Torah; keep doing that, and whether you survive to the end or are required to sleep through some of the intervening period, you will

not miss the appointment when it comes." This indeed is a message of hope--if we take the advice.
