Alila Ubud – Wine List

When enjoying food from our menu, you will find that the

experience becomes even more pleasurable with a suitable glass

of wine. Correctly matching wine and food can help bring out the

distinct flavours within both - a good match will enhance the

textures and complement the taste sensations of each dish.

Though wine matching rules have been formulated through the

centuries, they are there to be broken. Tradition dictates that

white wines should be enjoyed with poultry and fish while red

wines should be savoured with red meat. However, as tastes and

methods change, many people are starting to experiment with

their own matches and are finding exciting new flavours in the

process. Keeping this in mind, enjoy discovering your own personal

flavours while experiencing the fabulous wines from our menu and

pairing them with your favourite dishes. Each section is small, but

focused, beginning with Champagne and Sparkling, moving through

whites, reds onto the dessert section. We are proud to be able to

present a selection of 29 different grape varieties from 12

countries, wish you a sumptuous tasting experience, and with

great pleasure we welcome you in the hope that in the following
