Dear Brethren,

God has been speaking in the recent past like never before, that we His people (Christians) need to return to Him, who is our first love (Revelations 2:1-7).

We all know however, that the journey of a thousand miles has to begin with the first step. We therefore want to encourage our brethren all over to begin this first step by reading through the Bible (Genesis to Revelation) in one year and to continue doing so every year.

This is not a doctrine but it is something we all, as Christians, should have been doing ever since we got born again but which we have neglected. God has been speaking to some of us over the years concerning this matter and we have heeded His counsel. In fact, our courage and boldness in penning down this word springs from the testimonies received from men and women who have dared to take the challenge.

We believe that one major reason why a lot of believers are being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and by the sleight of men and their cunning craftiness (Eph 4:14) is because we do not know the Word of God as we should.

The Bible says we shall know the truth and the truth will make us free (John 8:32). The undiluted Word of God is the truth, so we need to read the Bible on a daily, consistent and systematic basis as individuals to find out the truth ourselves so we will not be deceived.

Do you know also that the Words of God are life unto them that find them and health to their flesh? (Proverbs 4:20-22). We therefore want to encourage those who are tired of being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and those who really want to move up to higher heights in God, to take up this challenge of reading through the Bible in one year, every year and see whether their spiritual lives will not be transformed for the better.

We have therefore included in this message, a daily reading of the Bible that will enable you read through the whole Bible in one year. We recognise, however, that there are different methods and ways one can use to read through the Bible in a year but we discovered from our own experience that what we have copied down for you in this message is easy and not complicated.As you take up this challenge, our prayer is that God, who has helped others in times past concerning this matter, will grant you the grace and the courage you need to fulfil your heart desire in this matter. Amen.
