BREAD
……....CRUMBS
Reaching out to those in hard to reach places where the need is great and all hope seems lost,
Southeastern Food Bank ventured to Jamaica last month. We partnered up with the Jamaica
Baptist Union and Food for The Poor from March 27-31 in what can only be described as an
incredible move of God. Mark Anthony and our new Outreach Coordinator Vinny Correale
were able to help 6 different denominations of churches and a youth missions team from Glad
Tidings in Ocoee Fl. come together to minister to a community that literally sits on top of a
trash heap right outside of Kingston called Riverton Meadows. We were able feed over 193
families and saw 68 people give their lives to the Lord for the first time. It was an amazing
week where new friendships and partnerships were made and strengthened for the glory of
God. Please continue to pray for our new brothers and sisters in Christ in Jamaica!!
Relying on God for our “Daily Bread” and praying for peace and His provision. April 2017
Our Mission Statement: “Caring for those in need by sharing life’s necessities and a message of hope.”
“How wonderful and pleasant it is when brothers live
together in harmony! Psalm 133:1

Food For Families Easter
This years Food For Families Easter food project was an over-
whelming success. Thank you to Publix, who provided 2 semi
trucks full of food, as well as individual stores who provided
baked goods! Thanks goes out to Ocoee High School for
providing the facility and support staff to make this happen. A
big thank you goes out to Greg Rau and his team of Disney
VoluntEARS, who provided the time and coordination of
packing all the food boxes. Also, thank you to Jason Walker
and his team who coordinated the set up for the packing. Last
but not least, a huge thank you to all the volunteers who
packed, picked up food, and distributed 2000 boxes of food; to
over 1200 families, just in time for Easter. Without all of you,
this huge endeavor would not be a reality!
