As darkness falls on Lac Leamy in Gatineau on August 14, the Canadian sky will be illuminated by Højen & Magic’s Celestial Smiles. This unique 25-minute pyrotechnical show from the Danish team presents an explosion of sensations combining music and fireworks. In spectacular colours of blue, lemon, silver and gold, Celestial Smiles stands out by synchronizing the fireworks in the sky to the intensity of the music in your ears. After the grand finale in red and white representing the uniqueness of Danish and Canadian national heritage, Højen & Magic Fireworks hopes to have put a smile on the audience faces and in the sky. Højen & Magic Fireworks from the city of Holstebro in Denmark was founded in April 2000 as a result of the merger between Højen Fireworks (founded in 1985) and Magic Fireworks (founded in 1997). Højen & Magic Fireworks’ years of experience and craftsmanship have made the company one of the most innovative and well-respected pyrotechnical teams in Denmark today.
