Resolution

The resolution, is the war ended two years later, when Annemarie is 12 years old. Annemarie asked her dad if he can fix Ellen’s necklace, for when Annemarie rippedit off Ellen’s neck at her house (the Soldiers were coming). Peter died because of the German soldiers for what he did to help the Jews. Annemarie finds out what really happened to her sister Lise. She was part of the group that Peter was in. They got captured by the Germans. Both Peter and Lise escaped. Peter got away fine, but Lise didn’t. When she was running, soldiers in a car were driving, and hit Lise. Obviously they wanted to kill her, so they just ran her over.

What is science-related

In this book, there is something science-related. There is something that scientistsactually made in real life. It is something that you can put on a handkerchief, and Soldiers dogs smell it, they temporarily lose their sense of smell. It was specificallymade to help Jews escape from the where they were going to be killed.
