Getting to Highfield Campus
From Southampton Airport or Southampton Airport Parkway Station The UniLink’s bus U1C connects the airport and the station to the Highfield Campus. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes and costs £2.00 (an all-day ticket is available for £3.50). Timetable and additional information are available on the Uni-link website (http://www.unilinkbus.co.uk/). Also note that National Express coach service from the central bus station at Heathrow airport (Terminals 1, 2 and 3) to Southampton stops at Highfield Campus.
Taxis have to be booked by phone or at the desk in the terminal. Getting to the Highfield House Hotel

The Highfield House Hotel is located just a 15-minute walk from the Highfield Campus (see map below). From the airport or the train station, a taxi ride should cost you around £ 10. Those who will arrive on Sunday 8 September are welcome to join us for an informal dinner at the Cowherds, a local pub just a 20-minutes walk from the Highfield Campus (see map below).

- St Michael’s Church - The eleventh-century church of St Michael’s will be the venue of the Conductus concert, performed by John Potter, Christopher O’Gorman, and Rogers Covey-Crump. St Michael’s is on Bugle Street, Southampton SO14 2AD. The UniLink’s bus U1C connects the Highfield Campus to the city centre. The ride takes about 15-20 minutes and costs £2.00. The Cowherds is a nice country pub located in the Common, SO15 7NN (see map above). It is a 20-minute pleasant walk from the Highfield Campus, on the border of the Common, Southampton’s largest park.
