Merf Radio takes pride in being a part of the community. Whether it’s having local guests to stop by to talk about their non-profit events,

taking a pie in the face for charity, or raising money for our local Salvation Army - Merf Radio is there for our listeners.

The annual Battle of the Morning Shows between Merf Radio and

WIEZ has raised over $160,000 since its inception back in the 1990's. Every penny goes to our local

Salvation Army.

Mifflin County Middle School’s Tally Your Turkey contest is hosted by

the school’s Student Council in order to help the morning show battle. The Student Council has raised over $10,000 in just a few

short years.

Merf Radio pitched in for this year’s Mifflin-Juniata United Way Day of Caring event. We provided music, live call-ins and fun with the Merf

Dog.

Merf Radio’s air staff, along with the lovable Merf Dog, all pitched in

for this year’s Mifflin-Juniata United Way Walk for Warmth. We

provided music, live call-ins and fun with the Merf Dog.

We’ve done plenty of live broadcasts from events - Relay for

Life, Embassy Festival, Kid Connection, ZTL’s FunFest for the Children’s Miracle Network, local county fairs, just to name a few!

We are also an annual part of the Festival of Ice and Goose Day.
