Press Release – 15th Annual Earth Day Logo Contest sponsored by Millennium Power
The following are the 2015 winners of the 15th Annual Charlton Middle School‐Millennium Power Charlton Earth Day
Logo Contest.
First Place Honor was tied by Elizabeth Harris with theme, "One Earth One Chance" and Julia Higgins theme “Earth
Day 2015 RRR”.
Second place is Meghna Patel ‐ "Healthy Planet Saves Lives" and Third Place is Erin Moran ‐ "Love Earth".
The first place designs will be used as the Logo for the 2015 Earth Day Celebration being held Saturday, 4/25/15 on
the Charlton Town Common. T‐shirts will be handed out to the first 100 volunteers who come to the Senior Center
for the Annual Street Clean‐up Activities. The Earth Day Logo Contest was held at the Charlton Middle School using
the Earth Day theme. A display of this year’s entries can be viewed at the Charlton Senior Center.
Millennium Power has partnered with the Charlton Middle School and the Charlton Earth Day Committee in
sponsorship of the annual logo contest and the Earth Day activities on the Town Common. Refreshments will be
served to volunteers as thanks for their efforts at the annual street and parks clean‐up followed by an Earth Fest
Celebration offering entertainment, Pet Show, Recycled Art Show, and great informational booths and vendors.
