Over the last 10 years we’ve been going through a true digital revolution. Film got replaced by SD cards and darkrooms by computers. The main reason being the accessibility of digital photography.

Medium Format.• Used by professionals because easier to enlarge than
35mm (bigger sensor) and easier to develop than large format.
• Uses 120 or 220 film.• Pictures are usually square.• Generally more expensive than 35mm photography.• Most common from 1960s until digital age.

Lomography.
• Inexpensive alternative to MF photography.
• Plastic, toy cameras
• Because they are so cheap they have flaws and therefore often random end results.

Film scanning.
-One technology that has made it a lot easier for analog photographers to get their photos printed is film scanning. Here's an example of a popular film scanner:
-By scanning the negatives analog photographers save both money and time because they do not have to go to the lab anymore to get photos printed.
