Graduates of the RCTC Law Enforcement Program have the ability to take their training in several different directions. Opportunities are available in state and federal law enforcement agencies. State-wide opportunities include city police, county sheriff, state patrol, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), probation officers, private security, and as corrections officers. Federal government opportunities include the Department of Homeland Security, border patrol, U.S. Marshals, Secret Service, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), U.S. Customs, the federal prison system (federal corrections), the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and law enforcement careers in the military. There are also specialized areas in law enforcement which include Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT), K-9, narcotics, accident reconstruction, criminal investigators, training, gang task force, and school liaison officers.

The RCTC Law Enforcement Program is proud to have graduates employed in all 50 states. Approximately 70% of our graduates are able to find employment.

The average salary for state and federal law enforcement agencies vary and can range from $45,000 to $65,000 annually.
